President Trump’s fast paced selection for key administration roles is continuing to roll forward, and it seems that even internal relationship splits among his own family are taking a back seat when it comes to filling important positions with the right people.
Rumors are swirling that President Trump’s oldest son and fiancé Kimberly Guilfoyle have split up, with Donald Trump Jr. being seen in public with another woman — and apparently confirming that the engagement is over.
But that hasn’t stopped President Trump from naming Kimberly Guilfoyle to be his Ambassador to Greece.
He made the announcement just a short time ago with a post on Truth Social.
In classic Trump style, Donald Trump Jr. quickly reposted his Dad’s announcement, and extended praise to his former fiancé.
Though the pair have long been seen engaging in public arguments, there doesn’t seem to be any doubt that at the end of the day, they are both committed first and foremost to putting America FIRST!
I am so proud of Kimberly. She loves America and she always has wanted to serve the country as an Ambassador. She will be an amazing leader for America First. pic.twitter.com/S3FjxqCgCx

Guilfoyle has been close to the Trump family for years, having stepped down as a Fox News co-host of “The Five” in order to work as President Trump’s finance chair.
Before that, Guilfoyle was an Assistant District Attorney in San Francisco and Los Angeles according to a report by CNN.
In a statement following the announcement, Guilfoyle said she was honored to accept the president-elect’s appointment.
“As ambassador, I look forward to delivering on the Trump agenda, supporting our Greek allies, and ushering in a new era of peace and prosperity,” Guilfoyle said on X.
Donald Trump Jr. also posted in support of Guilfoyle on X.
“I am so proud of Kimberly. She loves America and she always has wanted to serve the country as an Ambassador. She will be an amazing leader for America First,” he said.
Guilfoyle is a former co-host of Fox News’ “The Five” and was an assistant district attorney at the San Francisco and Los Angeles district attorneys’ offices before beginning her media career.
She abruptly left her position on Fox News in July 2018 and later served as the Trump campaign’s finance chair during his 2020 presidential bid.
Guilfoyle responded to President Trump’s announcement on X, accepting his nomination.
I’m honored to accept President Trump’s nomination to serve as the next Ambassador to Greece and I look forward to earning the support of the U.S. Senate.

“It was the democratic values born in Greece that helped shape the founding of America,” Guilfoyle added. “And now, we have an opportunity to honor that history by bringing better days here at home and abroad.”

Guilfoyle’s speech at the Republican National Convention four months ago was a ringing call to return to American strength in everything from border security, financial common sense, and legitimacy when dealing with foreign adversaries.
As part of the European Union, and geographically located in a pivotal strategic location were hostilities to break out beyond their current levels, Greece is a key ally for projecting U.S. strength — and possibly avoiding the march towards WWIII that Joe Biden and the globalist seem hellbent on kicking off.
Guilfoyle has been one of President Trump’s most staunch allies, with the mentality of a prosecutor and the experience of operating in the public sphere.
As a constant fixture at Trump campaign events and rallies, she has proven her deep commitment to President Trump’s core agenda, and her passion for pushing the conservative justice-based platform that the democrats have long tried to demonize.
