Luigi Mangione The Person Of Interest In UnitedHealthcare CEO Killing Will Have Court Appearance Tonight


Luigi Mangione, the person of interest in the fatal shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, will be arraigned tonight in Pennsylvania.

NBC News reported that Mangione will appear at the Blair County Courthouse in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, on gun charges.

Mangione will appear before a judge at 6:00 p.m.

The 26-year-old former Ivy League student was arrested after an employee inside a McDonald’s in Altoona recognized Mangione from wanted posters.

Local police were called to McDonald’s and searched Mangione and discovered a gun similar to the one used in Brian Thompson’s killing, a manifesto, and fake IDs.

Mangione is scheduled to appear in a Pennsylvania courthouse this evening for a preliminary arraignment.

He is due to appear at the Blair County Courthouse in Hollidaysburg, a spokesperson for the Pennsylvania court system said. He is expected to appear in person.

Mangione was arrested today in Pennsylvania on firearms charges, New York Mayor Eric Adams has said.
