Per Fox 59:

New York Police released new photos Saturday night of the suspect wanted in the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

The photos appear to be from a camera mounted inside a taxi. One of the photos shows him looking through the partition between the back seat and the front of the cab. The other photo shows him outside the vehicle. In both photos, his face is partially obscured by a blue, medical-style mask.

The manhunt continued on Saturday for the gunman who killed the 50-year-old UnitedHealthcare CEO outside the New York Hilton Midtown hotel in Manhattan Wednesday morning.

Thompson was walking to the hotel where he was to speak at an investor conference when the gunman approached him from behind and fatally shot him, police said.

“It appears the suspect was lying in wait for several minutes,” NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch said Wednesday. “At this time, every indication is that this was a premeditated, preplanned, targeted attack.”

Per CBS:

The New York City Police Department released two new images of the person of interest wanted for questioning in the deadly shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson outside the Hilton Midtown hotel in Manhattan.

One picture released Saturday shows the person of interest in the back of a taxi, and another shows him walking on a sidewalk outside a vehicle. In both, he is wearing a mask and has a hood up.

Earlier that afternoon, NYPD divers were seen searching the lake in Central Park. Sources tell CBS News New York they were looking for the weapon used in the deadly shooting.

The search came one day after police found a backpack in Central Park, which law enforcement officials say they believe belongs to the suspected gunman. Sources told CBS News New York that the backpack contained a jacket, but not the gun police believe was used in the crime. The backpack is now being analyzed at an NYPD forensic lab for possible hair and DNA samples, sources say.
