Fans and critics alike have become accustomed to comedian Jon Stewart relentlessly roasting conservatives over the course of his long career.
But the “Daily Show” anchor has proven on occasion that he’s willing to call out absurdities and outrages on his own side of the political spectrum. And in the aftermath of Joe Biden’s decision to pardon his son, Hunter, after repeatedly promising he wouldn’t, Stewart had quite a bit to say on the matter.
As Fox News reported:
“Now, look at the dance Democrats have to do,” Stewart said. The comedian aired a clip of MSNBC host and former Biden press secretary Jen Psaki applauding the president’s character in June after he said he wouldn’t pardon Hunter.
“Because the justice system that convicted his only surviving son is the same justice system he vowed to protect,” Psaki said at the time. “If that doesn’t tell you who Joe Biden is, I don’t really know what does.”
Stewart also played several clips of Democrats defending the pardon after it happened.
Following those clips, he responded, “Yes! Yes, yes, yes to everything that you guys were saying — if you hadn’t made Hunter Biden not receiving a pardon the Mason-Dixon line of morality between Democrats and Republicans. There’s a big gap between ‘The law is the only thing that separates us from the animals’ and ‘The monkey threw s–t at me first! I had no choice!’”
Stewart continued, “This is what Biden’s decision has done. Look at how confident and eloquent our Democratic representatives were back when they thought they had the moral high ground on this issue.”

Of course, clips showcasing that hypocrisy have also been shared extensively on social media:
"No. No. It's a no. It will always be a no. Biden will not pardon his son Hunter."

Even Democratic U.S. Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania, who said he believes Hunter Biden’s pardon was “appropriate,” insisted that it should be followed by a pardon of President Donald Trump.
According to the New York Post:
“It’s undeniable that the case against Hunter Biden’s trial was really politically motivated but I also think its true that the trial in New York for Trump, that was politically motivated as well,” the first-term senator said.
Fetterman argued that both Hunter’s prosecution and Trump’s “hush money” trial brought up by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg were done so by a “weaponized” justice system going after political rivals.
The 55-year-old suggested the outgoing president should relieve all 34 felony charges Trump was convicted of back in May.
“In both cases, I think a pardon is appropriate,” Fetterman revealed.
The Keystone State senator believes the nation’s views on the justice system have been negatively damaged because of the trials against the younger Biden and the former and future president.
“America’s confidence in these types of institutions have been damaged by these types of cases and we cannot allow these kinds of institutions to be weaponized against our political opponents,” he said.
“Both of those trials were clearly politically motivated and those kinds of charges would have never been brought unless one side realized they could weaponize that.”
Here’s a clip of Stewart’s recent remarks:
Hunter’s sweeping 11 year pardon is too suspicious even for late night ‘comedy’ shows.
The corruption is so blatant, even blue voters are seeing through it.
I hope they keep asking why 2014 is so important.
The truth will shock the world.
