Not surprisingly, Joe Biden appears to have fallen asleep during an important event — again.
Right in the middle of a summit meeting in Angola, sitting at a conference table with various African presidents with cameras rolling, Biden appears to nod off.
The clip making the rounds on social media shows Biden at the table with the leaders of Tanzania, Angola, Zambia, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
While the Vice President of Tanzania speaks, Biden drifts off to sleep. Watch the clip, here:

The event in Angola, called the Lobito Corridor Trans-Africa Summit, began this morning after visits to a port and food processing factory.
But then… he fell victim to what we’ve grown used to happening whenever the President of the United States is in front of cameras — he simply falls asleep.
Biden — an avid train enthusiast — at one point explained to the other leaders that he had enjoyed a train ride in Western Angola that morning.
And before falling asleep, he made sure to mistake the nation of Angola for a city, according to a story in the UK’s Telegraph.
Joe Biden appeared to fall asleep during a meeting with African leaders, closing his eyes for more than a minute.
The US president, 82, looked tired and spoke hoarsely during the summit in Angola, held with the Angolan president and his counterparts from Zambia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
During a speech by Philip Mpango, the vice-president of Tanzania, Mr Biden closed his eyes and rested his hand on his face, appearing to be asleep.
He then appeared to wake up, before closing his eyes again. Although Mr Biden was wearing an earpiece usually used for translation, all participants on the panel were speaking in English at the time.
His track record of looking bewildered and tired on the world stage gave rise to his “Sleepy Joe” nickname by Mr Trump, coined in 2019 during their first election battle.
During the meeting on Wednesday, Mr Biden told his counterparts that he had enjoyed a journey on a train line in the Lobito Corridor, a region of Western Angola where the US has invested in rail construction.
In a speech on Tuesday, he mistakenly referred to Angola as a “vibrant city,” before hastily correcting himself.
“Look, not the city,” he said. “The city, I know, is not Angola. But in Angola, in a vibrant city.”
This is certainly not the first time Biden has appeared to fall asleep during some important event.
But that has not stopped the social media backlash.
NEW: President Joe Biden appears to fall asleep during a meeting with African leaders.
The moment came after Biden pledged over $1B in aid to Africans displaced by droughts.

Here he was in August of last year, completely passing out during a ceremony to commemorate those who lost their lives in the fires of Hawaii.

And remember when Joe Biden had the audacity to call President Trump “Sleepy Don” for getting sleepy-eyed during a boring court room proceeding?
Well, here’s Joe Biden on that same day drifting off during a climate-change summit.
Tonight Biden called President Trump ‘sleepy Don’ because he dozed off while representing HIMSELF in a boring courtroom.

Biden also fell asleep at the Climate Summit.
I guess he lied when he called climate change a climate “crisis.” pic.twitter.com/mWeYYsavf6

It was, admittedly, a big trip for an older man.
Besides the fact that the 82 year old Biden is on a three-day trip to Africa, he also had a busy morning touring several locations prior to the snooze fest- err, I mean African Summit.
Reporters had even reported that Biden looked tired, according to a report in the Daily Mail.
President Joe Biden appeared to doze off in Africa during a discussion of his favorite subject: trains.
But, twice during a discussion with African officials and U.S. business leaders who are investing in the Lobito Trans-Africa Corridor, the 82-year-old president closed his eyes for at least a minute. At one point, his hand twitched and he dropped something.
Reporters traveling with him noted Biden looked tired. The president was on the final day of a three-day trip to sub-Saharan Africa.
At some points he took notes as other spoke. And, at the end hour-long meeting, his voice was foggy and hoarse.
Should “Sleepy Joe”, as President Trump likes to call him, get a pass?
After all, that’s a lot of traveling for anyone.
And doesn’t EVERYONE fall asleep during boring meetings?
That was the point that Matt Walsh brought up. I would never try to make the case that Walsh is a Biden fan; far from it. But… does he have a point?
The one thing I think Biden is unfairly criticized for is falling asleep during long, boring, bullshit meetings. I’ve nodded off during every long, boring bullshit meeting I’ve ever been a part of. It’s a biological response. I can’t help it.

This is one time I do not concur with Matt Walsh.
There’s a big difference between nodding off at some work meeting or business function as an individual… as a private citizen… and Biden falling asleep at an official function.
Even then, it looks terrible! Falling asleep during something you’re supposed to be paying attention to is not a good thing!
But this is the President of the United States, on the world stage with cameras rolling, sitting at a table of world leaders… dozing off for nearly a full minute!

Sorry, Matt — I don’t agree with your “unfair” accusation.
And I’m ready for a President who has the stamina to stay engaged and AWAKE during whatever the schedule of a U.S. President throws at him!
