President Trump has just tapped Monica Crowley to serve in his administration as Ambassador, Assistant Secretary of State, and Chief of Protocol.
To simplify it, her role in the administration will be to manage big U.S.-hosted events, like America’s 250th Independence Day anniversary in 2026, the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and the 2028 Olympic Games.
Monica Crowley is a Fox News anchor who served in President Trump’s first administration as assistant secretary of the Treasury for public affairs.

From The Washington Examiner:
President-elect Donald Trump nominated Monica Crowley, a former official in his first presidency, on Wednesday to join his second administration as ambassador, assistant secretary of state, and chief of protocol of the United States of America.
In this role, Crowley will be the administration representative for major global events, including the FIFA World Cup in 2026, the Olympic Games in Los Angeles in 2028, and the U.S. celebrating its 250th birthday in 2026.
“During my first term, Monica did an incredible job as assistant secretary of the Treasury for Public Affairs,” Trump said in a statement.
The president-elect also praised Crowley’s résumé, which includes her role as a Fox News host and contributor, a New York Times bestselling author, and a recipient of the Alexander Hamilton Award.
Crowley, who served as a political and foreign affairs analyst for the Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network, is among a growing number of Trump administration officials who have also served as a Fox News host or contributor.
