Kash Patel may be the single most polarizing individual currently aligned with President Trump.
He may also be the single most dangerous individual tapped by President Trump to play a lead role dismantling the corrupt structures of the Deep State bureaucracy.
It has recently been leaked (by the FBI?) that Kash Patel was a primary target of an Iranian-backed cyberattack attempting to hack into his private communications.
But there may be more to this story than meets the eye according to one FBI Whistleblower with the inside knowledge of protocol and tactics to recognize what the real play is being made here.
Kash Patel, Trump's pick for FBI director, targeted in possible Iran-backed cyberattack, sources say https://t.co/v9kC9S4HfZ

The FBI is (unsurprisingly) refusing to comment, but “sources” have leaked to CBS News that Kash was the alleged target of an Iranian hacking attempt.
Kash Patel, President-elect Donald Trump’s pick to lead the FBI, was the target of a potential Iran-backed cyberattack, two sources familiar with the matter told CBS News.
The apparent hackers targeted his communications, but whether they succeeded and how much access they had to the data is still being evaluated, the sources said.
ADVERTISEMENTThe FBI declined to comment.
But here’s where the story may get more complicated.
Stephen Friend is a former FBI special agent who turned whistleblower after the Bureau turned on him for refusing to engage in unconstitutional practices in violation of official procedure when the FBI targeted individuals in relation to the events of January 6th, 2021.
If you’re unfamiliar with who Steve Friend is, here’s a great synopsis of how the Deep State treated him.

Steve Friend had a conversation on Benny Johnson’s podcast show today, and the discussion turned to Kash Patel.
Benny Johnson, trying to get at the heart of this leaked story alleging that Kash Patel was the target of an Iran-backed hacking operation, started asking questions of Steve Friend, the 12-year veteran of the FBI.
Benny Johnson asked Friend if he thought the culprits who allegedly hacked Kash Patel were truly “Iranian” as the leaked info alleged, or if that was just an easy cover for the covert sabotage campaign that the FBI might be running against Kash; trying to find something to use as fodder against him.
Steve Friend’s answer implied that the FBI may have inadvertently told on itself by leaking that story — whether true or not — if you properly understand their protocol and methods of operating in the grey areas of the law.
🚨BOMBSHELL🚨
FBI whistleblower Steve Friend reveals open operation inside FBI to sabotage Kash Patel nomination:
"There's actually a full counter-intelligence investigation open on Kash Patel at this time…" pic.twitter.com/JkXjZBZzRR

According to Steve Friend, the fact that someone leaked that information — presumably someone within the FBI who would have knowledge of any successful effort uncovering a foreign attempt to hack an American political personality — is the tell tale sign that the FBI is creating the pretense under which they “legally” can open a full investigation into the TARGET of such a hacking scheme.
There doesn’t seem to be any other plausible reason why the FBI would leak that information EXCEPT to create the legal covering to protect their own “hacking” into Kash’s private communications.
And if you think this sounds far fetched, the FBI has a history of targeting Kash Patel — even when he was the senior Congressional investigator for Russia-gate on the House Intel Committee!
When the SENIOR CONGRESSIONAL INVESTIGATOR (Kash Patel) on Russia-gate approached the Attorney General and Department of Justice to recruit their help uncovering the truth of the matter, they said no… and had the FBI investigate HIM instead!
Check out Kash Patel explaining THAT story with Shawn Ryan.

Steven Friend’s explanation isn’t looking quite so far fetched now.
How did the FBI react when Kash attempted to get to the truth of the Hunter Biden laptop?
Here’s Kash Patel blowing Glenn Beck’s mind with that story.
.@Kash_Patel tells me how the FBI protected Hunter Biden: "Never in my life…when we had a target of investigation and we said we were going to interrogate you, were we refused – not by the target, but by the DOJ. The DOJ and FBI shut off the investigatory interview request of… pic.twitter.com/VFV3uDgM8i

The consistency by which the DOJ and FBI have both thwarted Kash Patel’s attempts to use his legitimate authority to get at the truth of serious matters, and TARGET HIM INSTEAD… may be one of the most clear patterns exemplifying the corruption of the Deep State that we have to look at.
So it is also no surprise that when President Trump made it known that he would indeed nominate Kash Patel as the new Director of the FBI, the spin operations in the media went to work trying to slander him every possible way, as Fox News clearly identifies in a recent story.
President-elect Trump’s announcement of Kash Patel being nominated as the new FBI director continued to elicit strong opinions from experts and lawmakers on the Sunday shows.
Left-wing commentators showed concern over the politicization of the FBI and whether Patel would be a Trump “enforcer” who’d “dismantle” the agency.
Former Obama administration official Juliette Kayyem claimed Patel was chosen only to go after Trump’s political enemies.
“[Patel] has no other agenda but revenge. I mean, it‘s not like he has a theory of law enforcement, a theory of reducing crime or financial crimes. He exists for one reason, and he‘s close to Trump for one reason, which is he will be the enforcer of what might be called sort of the revenge tour of this second term. So it‘s not really a matter of, what do I think or what should people think. He is appointed for this purpose,” Kayyem said.
Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., accused Trump of being resentful of Wray showing too much “independence” and “objectivity” in his job and denied any politicization by the current administration.
“I haven‘t seen what the proof is that the FBI has been weaponized against a political party or the Department of Justice. Of course, this Department of Justice has brought charges against a Democratic U.S. senator in New Jersey, a Democratic congressman in Texas. And so some people just seem to think that it should go only in one direction. And if it doesn‘t, then somehow it‘s politicized. And I think that‘s what they mean when they talk about politicization in the deep state. I mean, the deep state? Nobody‘s ever defined it. Apparently, it just means anybody who doesn‘t do the will of Donald Trump,” Raskin said on CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday.
Listen to this explanation of what the FBI did — again, in obvious collusion with the Department of Justice — to Kash in regards to the raid on President Trump’s home in Mar-a-Lago.
Kash Patel explains how the FBI deliberately put him at risk by purposely unredacting his name in the Trump raid search warrant. Which he received death threats pic.twitter.com/qwN0W9pylH
— knight rider (@AzBr0wn) December 1, 2024
On the same day that the FBI stopped investigation threats that that he had received, the DOJ decided to UN-REDACT his name from one of the most polarizing FBI warrants in history.
There is zero chance that was mere coincidence.
What he describes is a classic pressure and marginalize campaign conducted against him by the DOJ and the FBI.
And… if something more sinister happens? I don’t see the FBI shedding any tears if that were to happen.
Like Kash says — there is no coincidence in government.
Kash Patel is directly in their crosshairs, because he is and has been a threat to the Deep State bureaucracy for years.
Watch this — Trey Gowdy explaining that none of the true revelatory pieces of the puzzle would have come to light on so many issues if it was not for the work of Kash Patel.
THIS… is why the DOJ and FBI are actively attempting to sabotage any chance he has of becoming Director of the FBI.
The dirty Steele dossier
Fusion GPS
FISA abuse
And the list goes on…
Without @Kash_Patel , we never would have unraveled the FBI’s Russia Hoax.
And WITH Kash Patel, we’ll ensure it never happens again. pic.twitter.com/5ghsP8pu2i

And that is why Steven Friend’s take on why the FBI would leak a story alleging that Kash Patel was the target of a foreign hacking plot — because it gives them legal precedent to continue to “investigate” him.
And that is the danger of the Deep State. It is every bit as insidious and corrupt as it has been made out to be.
I don’t have anything tangible to prove beyond all doubt that the FBI and DOJ is actively coordinating against Kash Patel as President Trump’s Director of the FBI.
But I know this — if they aren’t… it would be the first time.
