The former bodyguard of OJ Simpson claims to have a recording of Simpson confessing to murdering his ex-wife, Nicole Simpson, and her boyfriend, Ron Goldman.
TMZ reported the thumb drive that allegedly contains the confession is now in the hands of the police.
Minnesota police have obtained multiple thumb drives from Simpson’s former bodyguard, Iroc Avelli, in a search warrant.
The audio recordings are currently being investigated.

The former bodyguard of O.J. Simpsonclaims to have a recording to the former NFL player confessing to the murders of his ex-wife, Nicole Simpson, and her boyfriend, Ron Goldman, according to a report.

Police state in a search warrant obtained by TMZ that they’ve been told the recording also has Simpson implicating an unknown third party in the double murder.
Police seized a backpack that contained multiple thumb drives from Iroc Avelli, who is identified as Simpson’s former bodyguard. The seizure was part of a separate investigation.

A Bloomington, Minn. police officer has filed a search warrant for several thumb drives that could contain a confession from OJ Simpson about the infamous murder of Nicole Brown Simpson.
According to an application for a search warrant filed in Hennepin County, officer George Harms has applied for a court warrant to search for the imaging of thumb drives, so that, “full forensics examination can be conducted on all thumb drives to try and obtain the recording.”
The search warrant was filed on the grounds that the thumb drives, “constitutes evidence which tends to show crime has been committed, or tends to show that particular person has committed crime.”
According to the filing, on March 3, 2022, Harms was investigating an assault that had occurred at a home on Lyndale Avenue South in Bloomington, for which he drafted a search warrant to collect evidence at the scene.
Several items of evidence were collected after the search warrant was executed, including a backpack with ammunition. Iroc Avelli was formally charged in the case, which is still pending.
ADVERTISEMENTOn June 14, 2024, Harms received a call from the Los Angeles Police Department, who said that Avelli and his attorney met with detectives, and said that located in the backpack seized during the search was a thumb drive that contained a recording of OJ Simpson confessing to the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.
Detective Mojarro of the LAPD has since requested that Harms look inside the green backpack for any thumb drives for the recording.
