One of the many deficiencies apparent in Kamala Harris’ doomed presidential campaign was her utter inability to communicate in a coherent and relatable way.
Weeks after her decisive loss to President Donald Trump, those substandard communication skills are back in the news. Harris posted a video to social media with the intention of rallying her supporters despite the outcome of the election, but countless X users responded with outright mockery or concern about her mental state.
As The Hill reported:
Vice President Harris attempted to share some optimism with her supporters while addressing her Election Day loss to President-elect Trump on Tuesday, advising them to hold onto their “power.”
“I just have to remind you, don’t you ever let anybody take your power from you. you have the same power that you did before November 5, and you have the same purpose that you did, and you have the same ability to engage and inspire,” Harris said in a video shared by the Democratic Party on social platform X.
More than the words themselves, however, Harris’ appearance sparked significant discussion:
Is this a…joke? It's a terrible video. Yikes.

They wouldn’t let her go on @joerogan but they let her do this.

Besides the, er, vibe of flammability, the message "don't let anyone take your power from you" is perhaps less than ideal as a theme during the peaceful transfer of power. https://t.co/t4tbljwff6

Who thought this was a good idea? Who is this for? What is this for? What is she even saying? Once again, I will reiterate that we are ruled by imbeciles. https://t.co/w7RiSW5ISp

As Fox News reported:
Many X users were buzzing about Harris’ appearance in the video, commenting about how there seemed to be something “off” with the vice president and expressing surprise it was publicly shared.
DC Examiner contributor Kimberly Ross responded, “Is this a…joke? It’s a terrible video. Yikes.”
“I’m not sure you guys want to be amplifying this. There’s something, ummmm, off with the vice president,” Fox News contributor Joe Concha joked.
