Hotel Employee Arrested for Carrying Loaded Gun During Kamala Harris’s Stay

A Fairmont Hotel employee was arrested in San Francisco after Secret Service detected a loaded firearm while Kamala Harris was there.

The individual claimed they were used to carrying a concealed weapon since they came from Texas.

This person found out that’s a big no-no in California.

California allows concealed carry only with a county-issued permit.

Violations can lead to misdemeanor or felony charges.

Doesn’t seem like that fits the 2nd Ammendment:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

The Gateway Pundit reports:

An employee at the Fairmont Hotel was arrested for carrying a loaded gun to work while Vice President Kamala Harris was staying at the iconic location.

San Francisco police confirmed that the loaded weapon was discovered Tuesday morning by magnetometers installed by the Secret Service, according to ABC News.

The individual, who had recently moved from Texas, claimed to be accustomed to carrying a concealed firearm, a right permitted in the Lone Star State but heavily restricted in California’s labyrinth of anti-Second Amendment regulations.

In California, concealed carry is legal only with a Concealed Carry Weapons License (CCWL), which is issued by the county sheriff’s office or local police station.

The state operates under a “shall issue” policy since the Supreme Court’s ruling on NYSRPA v. Bruen on June 23, 2022, meaning licenses must be issued when conditions are met.

The California Penal Code Section 25850 PC defines penalties for carrying a loaded firearm in public without a permit, classifying it as a misdemeanor or felony depending on prior offenses and the intent to commit a crime.

ABC News adds:

Harris left the Fairmont Tuesday afternoon without incident.

The Secret Service says the vice president was not a target or under any threat.

Vice President Harris’ visit to the Bay Area was her first time back since her election loss.

Harris and the Second Gentleman flew here following a vacation to Hawaii.

The reason for their visit was unclear.

We all know how much Kamala doesn’t like guns.

Well, she doesn’t like it when you have guns.

She can have one though.
