Former U.S. Senate candidate Kari Lake is in “active negotiations” to join Newsmax.
Just a week after her senate race was called, Lake is reportedly in contract negotiations with the conservative-leaning news outlet Newsmax.
Before running for Governor and the U.S. Senate, Lake was a newscaster for Fox 10 News.

Here’s what Mediaite reported:
Kari Lake is in “active negotiations” to join Newsmax after losing her bid for the Senate in Arizona, Mediaite has learned.
Lake, a local news broadcaster turned fierce Trump loyalist, is in talks with the conservative network for an on-camera position, sources said.
ADVERTISEMENTBefore emerging as a far-right political candidate, Lake spent more than two decades as an anchor for the Phoenix television station Fox 10.
After quitting the station, she became one of the loudest voices promoting Trump’s false claims of a stolen election in 2020, and mounted a bid for governor of Arizona in 2022. Lake lost that race, but refused to concede and cried fraud.

In recent years, Lake has praised Newsmax for the coverage of election fraud.
Happy to see @NEWSMAX talking about my historic lawsuit.
My hope is to be both a warning & an example.
I want to warn election officials going forward: For those of you who intend to undermine our elections, we won’t go down without a fight. pic.twitter.com/t5ngks59C1
