President Trump Taps Patel To Lead: DOJ or FBI?

President Donald Trump is reportedly eyeing Kash Patel for a top spot at the FBI.

Or possibly the DOJ.

Which ever the case, big change is coming!

You see,  Kash was previously on President Trump’s National Security Council.

And word coming out from within these agencies is that they aren’t too happy about this pick.

With each pick we see that Trump’s second term’s is going to be beyond interesting!

Another name floating out there for the position is Andrew Bailey, Missouri’s Attorney General.

The Post Millennial reports:

President-elect Donald Trump is reportedly set to nominate Kash Patel to a top role in the FBI or the Department of Justice. This comes as Trump has quickly filled his cabinet picks for his incoming administration.

According to a report from Axios citing “top transition sources,” Patel is expected to be appointed to the position by Trump. The president-elect is considering him to be deputy FBI director or a high-up investigative role in the DOJ, the outlet reported.

“Kash has a lot of allies who think placing him in a top role would be well-received by the Trump base, and send a clear message that Trump is serious about major reform to the justice and law-enforcement agencies,” a source reportedly told the outlet.

Although a final decision has yet to be made by Trump, many Republicans have been pushing for Patel to be put in place as the FBI director for the second Trump administration. Patel was the on President-elect’s then-National Security Council and also became chief of staff for Christopher Miller, the acting Defense Secretary under Trump’s first administration.
