Happy Sunday friends!
We’re back with another great gospel message, this week from our good friend Pastor Robb:
Today’s Sunday message is again The Tabernacle of Moses.
Today we will talk about the Brazen Laver, the last article in the outer court of the Tabernacle.
The Laver points to the Word of God. The priests had to be clean before entering in to the Holy Place, where they would minister to the Lord in true righteousness and holiness.
The Word of God cleanses us and it purifies our soulish nature. The Word of God is necessary for us as follower’s of Jesus.
The Apostle Paul so that we become kings and priests
of the Lord through blood of Jesus.Let us enter into the fullness of the Glory of God and become what the Lord desires of us. I pray that this message will truly bless you and encourage your faith to follow hard after Jesus.
ADVERTISEMENTMay Holy Spirit give you the desire to love the Lord more than the world. Amen.

Pastor Robb Goodman:
Good day, everyone. My name is Pastor Robb Goodman, and I am the lead pastor—or senior pastor—here at Zion Freedom Fellowship in Maryland, in the good old United States of America. I hope that you’re having a blessed Sunday morning. As you know, I am recording this on Saturday afternoon so that you can watch it in the morning.
Blessed be the name of the Lord! Today, we’re going to continue studying. After we pray, we’re going to go through a lot of scriptures today and talk about the Tabernacle of Moses. Specifically, we’ll talk about the bronze, or the Brazen Laver.
I’ll explain what the Laver is and discuss many things about it, but the main thing it points to is the Word of God. If you want to learn more, you can purchase the book The Tabernacle of Moses by Pastor Brian Ba. A lot of the material I’ll share comes from his book, along with notes I’ve compiled and research I’ve done using Bible commentaries and other sources.
I like to teach in a prophetic style because that’s the nature God has placed in me. My goal is to share whatever the Lord gives me to communicate to you. Remember, the Word of God is living, powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword. It pierces even to the division of soul and spirit, joints and marrow, and it discerns the thoughts and intents of the heart.
We must remember the power of the Word of God. You will never have success in your Christian life if you are not meditating on God’s Word. The Word of God is paramount. When you meditate on it, it will bring forth fruit in you—the fruit of the Spirit, the gifts of the Spirit, and many blessings. God watches over His Word to perform it. Hallelujah! Praise be to God!
[Prayer Begins]
Heavenly Father, we give You honor and glory this day, for the name of the Lord is a high tower. The righteous run to it and are saved. Father, You will keep us from the strife of tongues. You will hide us in the secret place of Your pavilion and cover us with the shadow of Your wings.
Father, draw us closer to You. Lord, You gave the Tabernacle of Moses to him when he was on the mountain for 40 days and 40 nights. You told him how to construct it and explained its purpose. You laid it out to Moses, and Lord, You’re not a God who hides mysteries.
For it is written in the book of Ephesians: “Unto us, it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God.” To us who are believers, washed in the blood, it is not a mystery but the Word of God revealed to us by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Father, minister to Your people today. Every hungry soul, fill them to the full. Baptize them afresh in the Holy Spirit. Lord, give them a fresh anointing to follow hard after You.
And Lord, once again, we give You thanks and praise for bringing this great victory to our nation by electing Donald Trump as the 47th President of the United States. We are so grateful for that, Father. Lord, You are not done with this nation. You have a plan, a purpose, and a divine call on this country.
Even though the enemy has tried to ruin it and bring it under complete darkness, You have arisen with healing in Your wings. Lord, You told us to continue to pray and intercede for this nation. Thank You, Father, that You will not allow the enemy to ruin this nation.
Father, You’ve given us strength, power, and authority in the name, the blood, and the Word of God. The name, the blood, and the Word of God! Father, I release the Holy Spirit right now. Jesus, I release You. In the name of Jesus, go forth in mighty victory and triumph.
By the power of the living God, let Your name be declared throughout this Earth. Father, protect all persecuted Christians around the world, especially in nations where preaching the Gospel is punishable by death. Protect Your people in the mighty name of Jesus.
Oh Lord, have Your way. Have Your way, Lord. In the mighty name of Jesus, amen and amen.
[End of Prayer]
Well, thank you! I don’t know about you, but I’m sensing the anointing and power of God, and I just want to laugh. I love being in the presence of God. To me, there’s nothing else like it—nothing like being in His presence.
This is just a foreshadow or a taste of what it will be like when we are in our new, redeemed, resurrected bodies in heaven, living for all eternity. We’ll have powerful resurrected bodies, just like Jesus.
Woo! I don’t know about you, but I’m going to preach myself silly. God is so good, isn’t He?
All right, let’s go to the Word of God. Actually, let me look at my notes real quick. While I’m doing this, you can turn to Exodus chapter 30, and we’ll look at verses 17–21.
Last week, we talked about the Brazen Altar, and this week, we’ll talk about the Laver that God told Moses to construct. We’ll discuss how to make it and its purpose.
There are similarities between the Brazen Altar and the Laver, as both were in the outer court and made of bronze. However, there are significant differences. The Laver was made of pure bronze, symbolizing the self-judgment of the believer.
Wow, isn’t that amazing? It symbolizes the self-judgment of the believer. When you take communion and stay in the Word of God, you’ll be cleansed. You’ve got to be cleansed before you can enter God’s presence.
Now, I have to be careful how I say this because I don’t want anyone to take it the wrong way. But remember: without holiness, no man shall see the Lord. Without holiness, no one can stand before God.
The blood of Jesus washes us from all sin. We are temples of the living God. His Spirit lives in us, and His blood has made us clean.
Paul said in 1 Corinthians 11:31, “If we judged ourselves, we would not be judged.” Think about that! If you judge yourself according to the Word of God, you won’t be judged. Isn’t that wonderful?
Now, God instructed Moses to construct the Laver so the priests could wash their hands and feet before entering the Holy Place to minister unto the Lord.
There was no floor in the Tabernacle, just dirt and sand. The priests came into daily contact with dirt that defiled them, and their hands were stained with the blood of sacrifices. Before entering the Holy Place—not the Holy of Holies—they had to wash at the Laver.
They had to cleanse their hands and feet before ministering at the Table of Showbread, lighting the candles, or offering incense at the altar before the Holy of Holies.
It would not do for a priest to enter the Holy Place with dirty feet or blood-stained hands. Similarly, we must be cleansed from sin. The Word of God cleanses us from defilement. The Laver signifies the cleansing power of God’s Word, especially for our souls.
Remember, man has a threefold nature: spirit, soul, and body. The soul must be cleansed, renewed, and convicted so the Holy Spirit can reveal areas of darkness in our lives.
Jesus was without sin. When tempted for 40 days and nights, He remained sinless. He said, “If you’ve seen me, you’ve seen my Father.” That’s powerful!
Let me take a quick sip of coffee. By the way, those in our church, Pastor Paul and Betsy Kum recently returned from Mexico. They ministered, saw families baptized in the Holy Spirit and water, and witnessed amazing miracles.
One young man saw his sister’s transformation, hungered for the same, and gave his life to Jesus. Isn’t that incredible? God is so good.
The Laver represents the cleansing power of God’s Word, which prepares us to minister and serve in His presence. We’ll explore more scriptures that emphasize the cleansing power of His Word.
Now, let’s turn to James 1:21-25. This passage shows us the power of God’s Word in cleansing and guiding us.
James 1:21 says, “Therefore, lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted Word, which is able to save your souls.” Wow! The Word saves our souls.
Then verse 22 says, “But be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” If you only hear the Word but don’t act on it, you’re like someone looking in a mirror, forgetting what they look like.
The Laver, made from mirrors donated by Israelite women, gave the priests a reflection. It allowed them to see and cleanse any impurity before serving.
We need the Word of God to reveal what’s unclean in us. Without it, we forget who we are in Christ. The Word of God reminds us of our true identity and the image of Christ within us.
A friend once told me she had a vision of me looking into the Laver and seeing Jesus’ reflection instead of my own. That’s powerful. The Word of God transforms us into His image.
In communion, we’re called to judge ourselves. Self-examination aligns us with God’s Word and His holiness. By doing so, we won’t face judgment. Praise God for that truth!
Now, turn to Ephesians 5:25-27. This passage speaks of Jesus cleansing the Church with the “washing of water by the Word.”
Ephesians 5:26 says, “That He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the Word.” The Word of God sanctifies and purifies us, making us holy and without blemish.
We need this constant renewal. Titus 3:5 speaks of the “washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.” The Spirit regenerates us and fills us with the nature of Christ.
Let’s look at 1 Timothy 4:1-5. This passage warns us about departing from the faith and embracing false doctrines.
1 Timothy 4:1 says, “Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons.”
False teachings are dangerous. They deceive and sear consciences. But the Word of God sanctifies and keeps us grounded.
Finally, let’s go to Revelation 19:11-13. This passage describes Jesus as “Faithful and True.” His name is called “The Word of God.”
Revelation 19:13 says, “He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.” If you want to know Jesus, get to know the Word—it’s alive and transformative.
[Closing Remarks]
Thank you, everyone, for listening. Let the Word of God cleanse, empower, and transform you daily. Walk with Jesus, trust Him, and live in His presence.
