She’s the new replacement for Matt Gaetz.

You see, Gaetz sidestepped the AG spotlight,

Now a Florida legal heavyweight is President Donald Trump’s pick.

How does he feel about this?

Well he took to X to post his comments.

And he’s all in, dubbing her a “stellar selection.”

Former Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz has responded to Pam Bondi being chosen to replace him as President-elect Donald Trump’s pick for attorney general.

Gaetz announced that he was withdrawing his nomination on Thursday, and Trump named former Florida Attorney General Bondi as his replacement choice that evening.

Responding to the news on X, Gaetz wrote that Bondi is “a stellar selection by President Trump for Attorney General.”

Gaetz continued:

“Pam and I worked closely together when she was Florida’s Attorney General and I chaired Criminal Justice in the state house.

She’s a proven litigator, an inspiring leader and a champion for all Americans.

She will bring the needed reforms to DOJ.”

Gaetz’s withdrawal comes one day after the House Ethics Committee announced it would not release the files from the federal sex trafficking investigation into him—but a document from the Department of Justice’s probe was leaked to The New York Times two hours later.
