Linda McMahon Expected to Lead Education Department in President Trump’s Administration

The Department of Education has needed to be body slammed for quite some time.

And so, President Donald Trump is reportedly set to nominate Linda McMahon, co-chair of his transition team, as Secretary of Education.

After all, she is a co-founder of modern day WWE wrestling company, along with her husband Vince McMahon.

She also served as the head of the Small Business Administration for two years during Trump’s first term.

This nomination continues to highlight Trump’s reliance on close allies for these positions.

Trump transition co-chair Linda McMahon is expected to be named President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee for US Department of Education secretary.

CNN reporter Kristen Holmes wrote, “Linda McMahon is expected to be named as Education Secretary, four sources familiar with the matter tell me and Kaitlan Collins – decision was formed after her co-chair Howard Lutnick was given Commerce, a role McMahon wanted.”

Trump named McMahon as a chair of the Trump-Vance 2025 transition team, which includes his sons, Vice President-elect JD Vance, as well as other loyal supporters of Trump’s campaign to win the presidency.

A flashback of when McMahon was in the ring with Stone Cold Austin. (She was not hurt during this, for those wondering)

He pulled the same move on President Trump, for those who missed it.

And who could forget when The Donald attacked Vince McMahon.
