MLB Legend Has The Perfect Response To Celebs Who Vowed To Leave The US If Trump Won

Now that President Donald Trump has secured a second term in the White House, millions of bitter Americans are putting their rage on full display.

Thus far, however, there hasn’t been a mass exodus of the celebrities who promised to move out of the country if Trump won Tuesday’s election.

For his part, former MLB pitcher Roger Clemens shared his tough assessment of such heated political rhetoric.

According to Fox News:

“Who ever said ‘I’m leaving America if Trump wins’ … don’t let the door hit you in the a– on the way out,” he wrote on X hours after the election was called in Trump’s favor.

He added that Trump’s win was “massive.”

His son, Kacy Clemens, was also celebrating the win. He wrote on X he wanted to stay up long enough to see Trump speak and “watch him dance.”

The Clemens family were among the professional athletes celebrating the win. Antonio Brown, Le’Veon Bell and Brett Favre were just some of those happy Trump won back the presidency.

One notable example was former Trump attorney Michael Cohen, who was mocked during a recent livestream video by those who wondered why he hadn’t followed through on his supposed plan to leave America.

The New York Post compiled a list of celebrities who said they’d pack up their things and leave the country because of the election results:

America Ferrera is reportedly ready to pack her bags after Trump’s victory. The 40-year-old is allegedly looking to start a new life in the UK with her husband, Ryan Piers Williams, and their two children, son Sebastian, 6, and daughter Lucia, 4.

A source told Daily Mail that the “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” alum is in search of a better life for her kids.

“America is sick that Donald Trump is President again,” the insider claimed to the outlet. “She is devastated that Kamala lost. She thought the country she lived in was better than that.”

Sharon Stone echoed her fellow actress’s sentiments, stating it’s time for her to flee America.

“I am certainly considering a house in Italy,” Stone told the Daily Mail in July. “I think that’s an intelligent construct at this time. This is one of the first times in my life that I’ve actually seen anyone running for office on a platform of hate and oppression.”
