Former Trump senior adviser Steve Bannon has floated the idea of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene joining Trump’s cabinet.
After Trump’s victory, Bannon interviewed Greene and asked the congresswoman about the rumors that she would be in Trump’s cabinet.
Bannon shared, “Congressman Greene, you’ve done so much work. You’re such a fighter. Now, is there any truth to the rumor that you’re going to take over as DHS?”
Greene responded, “I don’t know what’s going to happen Steve, we’re just thrilled to have President Trump back in the White House.”

Here’s what The Independent:
Former Trump advisor and convicted felon Steve Bannon has floated the idea that Marjorie Taylor Greene should be appointed to the president-elect’s new administration as the head of Homeland Security.
ADVERTISEMENTFellow Trump ally Greene, who was re-elected to congress for the third time on Tuesday, spoke to Bannon following the sweeping Republican victory.
Bannon noted that the Georgia firebrand had “been with us from the beginning,” adding “Congressman Greene, you’ve done so much work. You’re such a fighter. Now, is there any truth to the rumor that you’re going to take over as DHS?”
Greene laughed but dodged the question somewhat, replying: “I don’t know what’s going to happen Steve, we’re just thrilled to have President Trump back in the White House.”
"She's had a good relationship with Trump."
Marjorie Taylor Greene is being "floated" for a top job in the Trump administration as he "welcomes a variety of ideas", says former advisor to the Trump Transition team, Jan Halper Hayes.

Per The New Republic:
Donald Trump’s allies are already musing over a long who’s who list for Cabinet appointments in the MAGA leader’s forthcoming second administration. But one swirling rumor pictures an almost uncertainly unqualified, disruptive MAGA ally in a key post: Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene as the new Homeland Security secretary.
“You’re such a fighter,” Trump ally Steve Bannon told the Georgia Republican as she appeared on his podcast War Room Wednesday. “Now, is there truth to the rumor that you’re going to take over at DHS?”
But Greene didn’t take the bait, instead positing other goals for Trump’s second term.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen, Steve,” Greene said. “We’re just thrilled to have President Trump back in the White House because everyone knows what that means.
