As more statistics continue to pour in from districts across the country, Americans are learning more about President Donald Trump’s landslide victory over Kamala Harris.
One particularly notable fact came to light during election analysis on CNN.
According to the New York Post:
CNN anchor Jake Tapper is going viral for his stunned reaction early Wednesday when told that Vice President Kamala Harris had failed to outperform President Biden’s 2020 results in a single state.
Tapper asked CNN chief national correspondent John King to pull up a graphic showing in which states Harris had gotten at least 3% more votes than Biden had in the last election — just to be presented with a gray map reflecting her failure even in that.
“Holy smokes!” Tapper gasped. “Literally nothing?”
That was one of many signs pointing to a voter mandate ahead of Trump’s second term in the White House.
Weird how +20 million Democrats just disappeared in a single election from 2020 to 2024
Super duper strange man
Joe Biden got 81 million votes
Kamala got 60?
Very Sus

The Election Day victory for Republicans extended beyond the Trump-Vance ticket, as Fox News reported:
The Fox News Decision Desk projected that Republicans will take back control of the Senate in 2025 once the 119th Congress is sworn in.
The GOP officially won enough Senate seats in the 2024 elections to take the majority back from the Democrats. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., has led the upper chamber since 2021.
Republicans had a significantly more favorable map in terms of which Senate seats were up for election this cycle than the Democrats.
Here’s a clip of Tapper’s reactions:
