BREAKING: Trump Elected 47th President of The United States!

President Donald Trump has been elected the 47th President of the United States — that according to Fox News and a slew of media outlets.  With Pennsylvania just now called in his favor and Alaska being predicted as the next state added to his win column, the race to win the electoral college is over.  He has done it, just as he said he would.

He is reportedly the second President in history to win non-consecutive terms.

According to Fox News, President Trump has defeated Kamala Harris in a “stunning victory”, and will indeed become the 47th President of the United States.

The Fox News Decision Desk projects former President Trump has defeated Vice President Kamala Harris in a stunning victory, delivering him a second term in the White House after a historic election cycle filled with unprecedented twists and turns and two attempts on his life.

Trump will be the first president to serve two nonconsecutive terms since Grover Cleveland in 1892 — and only the second in history.

Trump was first elected president in 2016, defeating former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and vowing to “Make America Great Again.” He lost re-election to President Biden in 2020 during the global coronavirus pandemic but re-claimed the White House in 2024 after a nearly two-year campaign, vowing to “Make America Great Once Again.”

Trump formally announced his presidential campaign on Nov. 15, 2022 – just days after the midterm elections.

Trump campaigned for a second term on the record of his first and focused on the failures of the Biden-Harris administration. The former president was able to point to the reversal of some of his key policies as reasons why inflation rose and the U.S. border crisis worsened.

Trump faced a crowded GOP primary field, but emerged as the frontrunner yet again, easily defeating his opponents – all of whom eventually endorsed him to be the 47th President of the United States – and winning each primary contest.

I am sure there will be more details hashed out over the coming hours, days, and unfortunately even weeks.  That said, I can confidently confirm that every indication is that President Trump has indeed won the necessary electoral votes to become the 47th President of the United States.  This has been the most satisfying news story of my lifeand I thank God for His continued blessing on our nation, as we are sure to need it in the days ahead, win or no win.

According to the most recent reporting, Kamala Harris sent her campaign co-chair to disperse the crowds at her Howard University watch party, and a memo was sent from the campaign manager to staffers indicating that they should “get some sleep”, and more would be known after 3am.

It remains to be seen whether Kamala Harris will take the road of reality and accept that the will of the people is CLEARLY a different path than the one she represented, or if she will resist the clear victory of her opponent -- as she has so often accused President Trump of doing.

This is a developing story, and I expect there to be challenges and pushbacks to this news.  I am unaware at the moment when President Trump will be addressing the nation and his supporters -- but I expect it to be soon.  We will bring you that news as it happens.
