President Donald Trump and his running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), voted in Florida and Ohio, respectively, during Tuesday’s election.
Although their campaign was over, both men had a final message to the American people.
According to Fox News:
Former President Donald Trump declared on Election Day that he has no regrets and “this was the best campaign we ran” after casting his ballot in Palm Beach, Florida.
“I ran a great campaign. I think it was maybe the best of the three,” Trump said, referring to his victory over Hillary Clinton in 2016 and his loss to President Joe Biden four years later.
“We did great in the first one. We did much better in the second one, but something happened. And, this was the best, I would say this was the best campaign we ran,” Trump said.
Trump also told the media that “I’m hearing the same things you are hearing” when asked if he foresees a scenario in which he doesn’t declare victory tonight.
Trump and Vance also made a pitch to voters via social media:
It is now officially ELECTION DAY! This will be the most important day in American History.
Voter enthusiasm is THROUGH THE ROOF because people want to Make America Great Again. That means lines are going to be long!
I need you to deliver your vote no matter how long it takes.…

Hindustan Times provided coverage of Vance’s remarks after he cast a ballot in Cincinnati:
JD Vance is feeling optimistic about the election results after casting his vote for Donald Trump in Cincinnati. Speaking to reporters outside St. Anthony of Padua Church Tuesday morning, the Ohio state senator said that he and his wife had cast their ballots in favour of the former president. The GOP vice presidential nominee acknowledged that the 2024 race is closely divided, noting that should Americans “vote the wrong way” and elect Kamala Harris, “I’m still going to love you.”
