It may not come as much of a surprise that MSNBC’s Joy Reid has said something nasty about a Republican-led state, or Republicans in general. But there’s a very specific reason that caused her to string as many hot-button words into one sentence as possible — and I want you to know what that reason is. First, here’s the short version of what she just said.

You might be prone to assume that it is simply because President Trump just won Florida by a sizeable percent of the vote — and that may be part of it. You may also be tempted to think that she was being completely truthful about the reason she created that hate-filled diatribe against Florida, but I doubt it. Here’s the full clip, and her “stated” reasoning for hating on Florida so bad tonight.
JUST IN: MSNBC's Joy Reid is looking increasingly more concerned, appears to suggest that half the country is sick.
"You just think about just the last two weeks and the things that Trump has said…"

While I have no doubt that Joy Reid absolutely seethes over all those things included in her list of contempt for the state of Florida, what I really think is behind her attack has more to do with babies; in particular, her hatred for Republicans — and President Trump’s role — in denying her death cult the ability to kill them.
As the New York Post reports, Amendment 4 appears to have failed in Florida. And Amendment 4 would have directly challenged the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Hence, Joy Reid particularly hates Florida right now.
MSNBC’s Joy Reid suggested that Florida has devolved into an “extremist right-wing, fascist type government,” while railing against the failure of Amendment 4 ballot measure that would’ve enshrined abortion rights into the state’s constitution.
“It’s a pure Project 2025 in miniature in Florida,” Reid vented on an MSNBC election night panel. “That kind of extremist right-wing, fascist-type government in Florida — does that make it a more attractive place — or does it make it more like some of the other southern states that don’t get investment?”
ADVERTISEMENTReid is widely known for her incendiary rhetoric against Republicans.
The Amendment 4 ballot measure would’ve needed to surpass a 60% threshold in order to go into effort but is widely projected to have come up short.
Florida has a so-called “heartbeat bill” on the books that prohibits abortion after six weeks gestation.
The failure of Amendment 4 marks one of the first major ballot measure setbacks for abortion rights activists since the Supreme Court’s 2022 overturn of Roe v. Wade.
While I am sure that Joy Reid generally hates all-things Republican about the current state of Florida — President Trump having won it’s electoral votes and Ron DeSantis at the governorship helm — I am fairly confident that her desire to regain the ability to rack up kills inside the womb is truly what is driving her emotional hatred for Florida at this very moment.
I’d like to show you one more video, and I’ll wrap up this particular Joy Reid attack piece. (Though I would like to think of it as an exposé.) Watch this clip of Joy this morning as she gives her most eloquent attempt at covering President Trump with as much misinformed slanderous mud (and outright lies) that she can come up with.

Now, if you’re paying attention, you know that 99.9% of everything she said in that 2.55 clip isn’t worth the paper that her worthless Blackrock stock is printed on. (No, I don’t know if that’s true – but I’ve had hunches of stranger things that have proven true.) But the reason I wanted to play that clip of Joy Reid just hours before she said the hateful things about Florida is because I wanted to highlight just how far apart she is — from reality.
The problem, though, is not Joy Reid. At least, she’s not the only problem. Joy Reid is just one person, and while she may command a menacing vocal pulpit from her MSNBC throne, it isn’t really her that truly worries me — rather it is the millions of people who hear those baseless rants, the thousands who are stirred by them, the hundreds who consider acting on them, and the handful who might just do so; out of some flawed sense of duty.
We have already seen multiple assassination attempts on a single Presidential candidate in a matter of months. Has this been so normalized that Joy Reid can really slide by with that much rhetorical fear-mongering without any pushback from her own employer, much less the democratic leadership in general?
Yes, unfortunately, it has been that normalized. And what would have every Democrat politician up in arms, calling for his ARREST if he said it, President Trump meanwhile continues to operate in a very unforgiving threat environment intentionally amplified by his political detractors with little to no pushback from those on the political left.
I have never seen such lopsided hypocrisy in all my life, and I pray that when President Trump does gain the power and authority to put an end to this unmitigated descent into political chaos, that he does exactly that. But I hope he does so primarily through the most effectual means possible — by proving for 4 straight years that not only was the Biden-Harris promises as empty as he’s been saying they were, but what he began to do during his first term, he can do again; and this time, without the help of SO-CALLED Republicans who slide in with the greasing of a well-worn RINO buddy system.
This time, I’m looking forward to a true Trump Presidency; without the extra weight of those who are only there to poison his agenda and play political games behind the scenes for their own gain; the country be damned.
Will that shut up the likes of Joy Reid? Maybe not. Probably not. But it’s a lot harder to pull the wool over the sheep’s eyes when the one actually protecting them, raising their standard of living with common sense policies, and making good on his promises, is the very one you’re trying to slander.
I don’t expect the likes of Joy Reid to completely shut up and go away over the next four years. But I bet their voices get a tad less strong… when their so-called FASCIST does more in a month for individual liberty than their entire party has done in 100 years.
