Did Jimmy Kimmel Just Commit Election Interference? According To The Biden Administration, Maybe..

There’s an old expression: Rules for thee but not for me.

That sums up democrats fairly well.

The very unfunny late night host Jimmy Kimmel recently encouraged Trump supporters to vote AFTER election day.

Kimmel said on his show: “If you want to vote for Trump, vote late.  Vote very late.  Do your voting on Thursday or maybe Friday.”

Of course Kimmel was joking here, but there’s just one problem…

The Biden DOJ arrested conservative social media influencer Douglass Mackey last October for basically making the exact same joke against Hillary Clinton voters back in 2016.

This has left many wondering if the same set of rules will be applied to Kimmel.

Personally, I wouldn’t hold my breath…

The sad part is, this was the closest thing to a “joke” that we’ve ever heard from Kimmel..

What isn’t so funny is that Douglass Mackey was arrested and jailed for pulling a similar stunt against Hillary Clinton voters back in 2016.

In fact, the conservative influencer was sentenced last year to seven months in prison by an Obama-appointed judge under the Biden Administration.

Still, if the precedence set forth by the Biden Administration means anything, then Kimmel could be looking at some real trouble.

Breitbart has the scoop:

In today’s edition of Democrats Sure Got It Good, the basement-rated Jimmy Kimmel took to the publicly funded airwaves Wednesday to urge Trump supporters to vote late, like next week Thursday or Friday. Because Election Day is Tuesday, doing so would void their vote.

In 2023, Douglass Mackey, the owner of the “Ricky Vaughn” Twitter account, was sentenced to seven months in prison for doing the exact same thing — spreading disinformation in 2016 to Hillary Clinton supporters about how to vote and doing so in a way that would ensure their vote wasn’t counted:

As proven at trial, by 2016, Mackey had established an audience on Twitter with approximately 58,000 followers. A February 2016 analysis by the MIT Media Lab ranked Mackey as one of the most significant influencers of the then-upcoming presidential election. Between September 2016 and November 2016, Mackey conspired with other influential Twitter users and with members of private online groups to use social media platforms, including Twitter, to disseminate fraudulent messages that encouraged supporters of presidential candidate Hillary Clinton to “vote” via text message or social media which was legally invalid.

Our friends at the Blaze have more on the comparisons between these two incidents:

In his monologue Wednesday, the Harris booster said, “You have to vote. If you can vote early, vote early. If you can’t vote early, vote on time. If you want to vote for Trump, vote late. Vote very late. Do your voting on Thursday or maybe Friday.”

Libs of TikTok responded, “Wasn’t Douglass Mackey sentenced to prison for doing something similar? Will @TheJusticeDept investigate Jimmy Kimmel?”

Rep. Mike Collins (R-Ga.) noted, “Douglass Mackey was sent to prison for this.”

“Biden’s DOJ sent Douglass Mackey to prison for sharing this same joke about Hillary,” tweeted former Salomon Brothers and Citigroup investment banker John LeFevre. “Another example of the weaponized lawfare and two-tiered justice that awaits us if Kamala wins.”

Mackey chimed in, tweeting, “Jimmy Kimmel told his joke to an audience of millions. The joke meme I sent out didn’t even reach more than 100 people until Buzzfeed and Wired reported on it.”

Douglass Mackey himself chimed in on X:

This might seem like fun and games to Kimmel, but the uneven distribution of the law has many conservatives claiming that Kimmel should face serious consequences if Trump is re-elected:
