‘The Answer Is Obvious’: JD Vance Has Perfect Response To Left’s Trump-Hitler Comparisons

The mere fact that President Donald Trump held a massively popular rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City was enough to convince some far-left politicians and pundits that he and his supporters deserve to be labeled Nazis.

The backlash against such rhetoric has been swift and severe, however, including a blistering response from Trump’s running mate, U.S. Sen. JD Vance (R-OH).

According to the Daily Wire:

On X, someone posted an image of a pro-Nazi event at Madison Square Garden and wrote that it was the last time an “America First” rally had been held there. Nebraska State Sen. Megan Hunt responded, “They know! They love it!! It’s 100% on purpose and they think it’s funny and they cooked you if you don’t like it.”

An account with the name Drew Sullivan retorted, “My father fought in WWII against the NAZIs and was wounded. This comparison of Republicans and Nazis is atrocious. You should be ashamed of yourself.” Hunt then shot back, “Yeah good point, we used to fight nazis not vote for them.”

That’s where Vance came in on Monday with a volley of posts making reference to World War II, particularly D-Day, when U.S. forces and their allies stormed the beaches of Normandy, France, on June 6, 1944, in a campaign against the Nazis.

Here’s a breakdown of Vance’s response:

Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) also had a few thoughts on the matter, as the Daily Caller reported:

“Kamala Harris spends half of her time talking about her rival as Hitler after he’s been, after the attempts on his life, not once, but twice. She’s doing it right now. Every Democrat official at these rallies refer to him as Adolf Hitler. You’ve got [former Democratic nominee] Hillary Clinton running out there hawking her book that nobody wants to buy frankly, and she’s talking about how this is akin to 1939. Are you out of your mind? If you want to talk about rhetoric, compare. But let me go back. We are talking about the comments of a comedian and everybody’s gonna forget it in 48 hours. The real joke in America is the terrible policies of Kamala Harris,” Donalds said, saying Puerto Ricans are struggling under Harris.

“I’m not disagreeing with you on that front. I’m just saying to the extent that you can speak to those people who are out there now watching saying, ‘I agree with the Trump policies, but I just can’t abide by reading headlines like that,’” Sorkin said.

Donalds said voters have to decide whether they want to believe the media who he accused of being “in the tank” for Harris or live under a continuation of the vice president’s polices.

Here’s a clip of his remarks:
