Per The Carolina Journal:
According to ad tracking firm AdImpact, the Harris-Walz presidential campaign has changed much of its remaining ad spending in North Carolina in the last week of the election, pulling millions of dollars worth of ads from the major North Carolina media markets.
This comes a day before Harris is scheduled to campaign in the capital city of Raleigh, the only North Carolina media market where she is leading the Republican presidential candidate, former President Donald Trump.
ADVERTISEMENTIn the latest Carolina Journal statewide poll, Harris and Trump are tied at 47%. However, Trump leads Harris from Charlotte to western North Carolina by 12 points, and leads Harris by 9 points in North Carolina’s coastal area. They are tied in central North Carolina at 45%. Harris is ahead in the Triangle area of Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, leading 55% to Trump’s 40%.
Trump is also going to be in North Carolina on Wednesday, with a rally scheduled in Rocky Mount.
The Harris campaign has canceled all their advertising in North Carolina because they think the state is not winnable. Instead, they’ve shifted their ad buys to Virginia because their internal polling shows she is at risk of losing the state.

Here’s what Newsmax reported:
With just a week to go before Election Day, Democrat Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign is pulling millions of dollars of advertising from major North Carolina markets, the Carolina Journal reported Tuesday.
In a post Tuesday morning on X, ad tracking firm AdImpact reported Harris’ campaign reserved $2.7 million Monday for a barrage on ads in the state in the week leading up to Election Day on Nov. 5. But on Tuesday morning, the campaign canceled $2 million worth of those ad reservations.
The move was announced a day before Harris’ scheduled rally Wednesday in the state capital of Raleigh, the only media market in North Carolina where she is leading her Republican rival, former President Donald Trump, who also is holding a rally Wednesday in North Carolina in Rocky Mount.
