Kamala Harris Gets Booed By Beyonce Fans After Appearing To Mislead Them

Kamala Harris was booed at her most recent rally in Houston on Friday night.

The booing stemmed from hundreds of Beyonce fans who were furious after they attended Kamala’s rally expecting a concert from Beyonce, but to their disappointment, Beyonce never performed.

Beyonce instead gave a short speech endorsing Harris, but that wasn’t enough for fans, and they instantly roared with boos as Kamala began her speech.

Here’s what the New York Post reported:

Beyoncé fans are furious at her for not performing at Kamala Harris’ rally in Houston Friday night.

In a video shared on TikTok from the event, the current vice president appeared flustered as she smiled and laughed while seemingly getting booed at by fans after the “Crazy In Love” singer exited the stage without singing a song.

“Embarrassing and awkward!!!” the social media user wrote atop the video.

“So let me get this straight, Kamala Harris baited people with a free Beyoncé concert and then had Willie Nelson perform,” another X user quipped.

“Talk about a bunch of pissed off concert goers…”

“Just when you think that Kamala Harris’s dumpster fire campaign is burning out, they throw gasoline into the dumpster and roll a shriveled up,Willie Neslon, onto the stage,” an additional shocked person stated.

Per My San Antonio:

How are you going to give us Beyoncé with no Beyoncé performance? In all fairness to Vice President Kamala Harris, Friday’s campaign rally in Houston was technically a political appearance for the “Love on Top” superstar, not a concert performance. However, I could totally relate to the crowd’s disappointment.

While Beyoncé didn’t perform her popular hits for the crowd of 30,000 people, she did “wow” the crowd with an “ICONIC” speech, kicking off with, “I’m not here as a celebrity, I’m not here as a politician. I’m here as a mother.” During her speech, she encouraged others to go out and vote because she “cares deeply about a world where we’re not divided.”

Following the superstar’s “powerful” speech (and nonexistent performance), she introduced and welcomed Harris to the stage, alongside her Destiny’s Child bandmate Kelly Rowland. Beyoncé, whose hometown is Houston, gave Harris permission to use her 2016 track “Freedom,” a cut from her landmark album “Lemonade,” as her presidential campaign anthem.
