‘Trust Me’: Actor Michael Keaton Releases Video Belittling President Trump’s Supporters

The latest Hollywood star just alienated half of his audience by coming out with a public statement trashing President Donald Trump and the millions of Americans who are voting for him to serve a second term in the White House.

Michael Keaton, who is currently promoting his latest film “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” took the time to upload a video sharing his critical view of the Republican nominee.

As TheBlaze reported:

“For some of you folks, guys mostly , who are thinking of attending a rally with Musk and Trump, they don’t really respect you, they laugh at you behind your back, they think you’re stupid. They don’t want to hang out with you. They have nothing in common with you. They’re not your bros,” he said.

“When Trump years ago said, ‘I could shoot somebody on Fifth Avenue and they’d still vote for me,’ basically what he is saying is that these people are so dumb and so stupid they’d still vote for him,” he added. “They have no respect for you, trust me.”

The Harris campaign has been hemorrhaging support from multiple voting blocs and has responded by attempting to peel off some votes that might otherwise go to Trump. Most notably, this has included a focus on men — and White men in particular.

Team Harris spent a ton of campaign cash on its appeal to “White dudes,” but there’s little evidence that it has accomplished much more than making pro-Harris men an even bigger laughingstock among critics.

As The Hill reported last month:

The group White Dudes for Harris rolled out a $10 million ad campaign Thursday, with the first ad of the effort targeting white men in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

The more than minutelong spot addresses former President Trump’s grip on the white male vote but works to appeal to voters in the bloc who are disillusioned with him and his campaign.

“All they’ve ever done is screw us over, but if you’re not on the MAGA train, where do you go?” the narrator says. “Then it hit me, this isn’t picking teams. It’s about who’s got a plan that’s going to make life better for me and my family.”

The ad goes on to say Vice President Harris and her running mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) “are actually talking to guys like us.”

Here’s a great parody of one especially cringeworthy ad from the “White Dudes for Harris” campaign:
