The first look at Colorado’s all-mail early voting numbers are showing razor-think margins, with Democrats holding an approximate 22,000 ballot lead over republicans. This comes as President Trump has been pushing for a possible flip of Colorado, with increased scrutiny over potential voter fraud hanging in the air. Below is what the numbers ultimately looked like in 2020 for the Presidential race, according to CNN:
Now, with republican voters having staged a huge push for greater voter registration, those margins seem to be diminishing. According to the Denver Post today, more than 635,000 voters have returned their mail-in early ballots so far, with a small number opting to cast their ballots in person.
More than 635,000 Colorado voters have returned their ballots for the Nov. 5 election, which features a faceoff between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump and a host of other races and ballot measures, according to data released by state elections officials Wednesday.
So far, Democrats have outpaced Republicans by about 22,000 ballots. The numbers are the first release of ballot return data from the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office since mail ballots went out to all active registered voters in mid-October, with voters able to return them by mail or through drop boxes. A small number, 5,815 voters, have opted to cast ballots in person.
The largest chunk of voters to have turned in their ballots is also the largest group of registered voters in the state — unaffiliated voters. They have turned in nearly 250,000 completed ballots, compared to around 200,000 for Democrats and 178,000 for Republicans. The numbers posted were as of the end of the day Tuesday.
Those are astounding statistics, considering it wasn’t that long ago that Colorado had actually been planning on keeping President Trump off the ballot completely! It was only when the Secretary of State announced that she would include Trump on the ballot, according to a Fox News report, after the state GOP filed an appeal against a lower court ruling which would have kept him off the ballot!
The Colorado secretary of state will include former President Donald Trump on the 2024 Colorado primary ballot after Republicans filed an appeal to the Supreme Court.
ADVERTISEMENTOn Wednesday, the Colorado GOP filed an appeal with the U.S. Supreme Court after the state Supreme Court’s decision to remove Trump from the primary ballot.
Following the appeal, Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold announced that she will include Trump on the primary ballot on the Jan. 5 certification deadline, unless the U.S. Supreme Court affirms the lower court’s ruling or declines to take up the case.
We are literally watching the potential flip of Colorado in favor of President Trump after he was almost not allowed to have his name on the ballot. That in itself is a testament to the unprecedented nature of this election year. Early voting in Colorado opened just a few days ago.
Colorado is not without election controversy, as even today there were reports of ballots being stolen, and voter fraud investigations underway — as Natalie Winters has pointed out.
BREAKING: Fraudulent mail-in ballots were caught by election officials in Colorado.
They’re still counting these stolen votes in the election.

While there remains plenty of time for shifts to take place, the small margins bode well for republicans as there are far more registered democrat voters than republicans to begin with in Colorado. The potential for President Trump to flip Colorado and achieve a sizable electoral victory is definitely in play.
