Famous Rapper Has The Perfect Response To Critics Of President Trump’s Visit To McDonald’s

When President Donald Trump showed up to work the fryer at a McDonald’s in Pennsylvania recently, he was greeted by a throng of supporters and attracted enormous coverage for his campaign.

Of course, that meant his foes in the Democratic Party and mainstream media were quick to dismiss or disparage the clever campaign stop. But many people pushed back against that narrative, including rapper Azalea Banks.

As the Daily Caller reported:

Banks soaked up all the insults that were slung at Harris, and made sure to throw in a few of her own.

“That is FUNNY. His Pr should have been smart enough to do it in Oakland, CA in full Honor of her birthday,” Banks wrote on X.

She continued, “@elonmusk should have personally footed the bill to avoid campaign fund misuse allegations and literally treated the entire city to free McDonald’s for the day.”

Her entire statement played out in a series of social media posts:

She went on to offer Trump and McDonald’s a marketing opportunity:

For its part, McDonald’s released a statement to its employees in response to backlash it received over the Trump appearance.

According to TheBlaze:

“We are not red or blue — we are golden. Though we are not a political brand, we’ve been proud to hear former President Trump’s love for McDonald’s and Vice President Harris’s fond memories working under the Arches. While we and our franchisees don’t have records for all positions dating back to the ’80s, what makes ‘1 in 8’ so powerful is the shared experience so many Americans have had,” the statement said.

“Upon learning of the former President’s request, we approached it through the lens of one of our core values: we open our doors to everyone. It’s with that same approach that franchisees have invited Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz to their restaurants, in order to share how McDonald’s provides meaningful pathways to economic opportunity and feeds and fosters local communities,” the company explained. “The strength of our brand comes down to our people.”
