Biden Calls For Trump To Be Locked Up Just 14 Days Before Election

On Tuesday, Joe Biden called for Donald Trump to be locked up just 14 days before the 2024 general election.

While visiting a Democratic campaign office in New Hampshire, Biden said, “If I said this five years ago, you’d lock me up: we gotta lock him up.”

After pausing, Biden added, “Politically… lock him out, that’s what we’ve got to do.”

Retiring President Biden stunned listeners Tuesday by calling for his predecessor Donald Trump to be jailed — 14 days before the presidential election in which Trump is the Republican nominee.

“If I said this 5 years ago, you’d lock me up: we gotta lock him up,” Biden, 81, said during a visit to a Democratic campaign office in New Hampshire.

After a four-second pause during which his audience enthusiastically applauded, Biden added: “politically… lock him out, that’s what we’ve got to do.”

The president and his aides typically refrain from commenting on the four pending criminal cases against Trump, who contends that a quartet of local and federal indictments last year were politically motivated to aid Biden’s then-re-election campaign.

President Biden on Tuesday called for his predecessor to be “politically” locked up during an event in New Hampshire’s capital, a phrase similar to former President Trump’s 2016 call to imprison Hillary Clinton, then his Democratic opponent.

Biden was in Concord to tout his health care and prescription drug cost legislation when he said Trump wants to eliminate his political adversaries and detractors.

“He thinks he has a version of the Supreme Court ruling on immunity to be able to, if need be, if it was the case, to actually eliminate, physically eliminate, shoot, kill someone who is, he believes to be a threat to him,” Biden told his supporters.
