Tim Walz Shares Unhinged Reaction To President Trump’s Shift At McDonald’s

Kamala Harris has repeatedly made the dubious claim that she once worked at McDonald’s, but news outlets haven’t been able to track down any proof.

Her Republican rival in the 2024 presidential race, however, recently put on an apron and began serving up fries to a long line of largely supportive customers.

President Donald Trump used the experience to taunt Harris, as Fox News reported:

Former President Donald Trump took on a new role as he cooked and served french fries to customers at McDonald’s on Sunday afternoon in Pennsylvania, while dishing out plenty of jabs at Vice President Kamala Harris.

“Hello, everybody. It’s my first day at McDonald’s, I’m looking for a job,” Trump said as he entered the establishment and shook hands with the owner.

Thousands of Trump supporters surrounded the McDonald’s restaurant as Trump spent the afternoon working as a fry cook after accusing Harris of lying about working at the fast food restaurant.

“I’ve now worked for 15 minutes more than Kamala at McDonald’s,” Trump said through the drive-thru window as he handed out orders.

“I’ve really wanted to do this all my life. And now I’m going to do it because she didn’t do it,” Trump continued.

Harris’ running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, spread the Democratic nominee’s alleged work history even further in a social media post attacking Trump’s fast food campaign stop.

This guy spent decades stiffing workers pay, cut overtime benefits for millions of people, and opposed any effort to raise the minimum wage.

Of course, Walz wasn’t the only Democrat with an ax to grind. Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA) also took a shot at Trump, as RealClearPolitics reported.

“There’s no logic to it, it’s a stunt. He has not put forth an economic agenda, and you know he appears to be not well and he is engaged in some really bizarre types of activities during this campaign. So this is just another one of those stunts,” she said.
