Grandather Who Was Jailed for Two Years For Particpiating In Anti-Immigration Protests, Dies In Prison

A grandfather who was convicted of “violent disorder” for participating in anti-immigration protests and sentenced to over two years in prison has died behind bars.

Peter Lynch, 61, died in prison just months after pleading guilty to participating in anti-immigration protests in Rotherham, England, in August.

The Prisons and Probation Ombudsman is currently investigating Lynch’s death.

Lynch was arrested after he carried a placard at an anti-immigration protest that called out “politicians, police, journalists, and others had been corrupted by the World Economic Forum (WEF), BlackRock, and Vanguard.”

Per BBC:

A grandfather convicted of violent disorder after taking part in rioting outside a hotel used to house asylum seekers has died in prison.

Peter Lynch, 61, was serving two years and eight months after he pleaded guilty to being part of the unrest at the Holiday Inn Express in Rotherham on 4 August.
He shouted “racist and provocative remarks” towards officers and called asylum seekers in the hotel “child killers”, Sheffield Crown Court heard at his sentencing.
A spokesperson for the Prison Service said Lynch, who had been at HMP Moorland in Doncaster, died on Saturday.

“As with all deaths in custody, the Prisons and Probation Ombudsman will investigate,” the spokesperson added.
“Family man” Lynch, who had suffered a heart attack earlier in the year and had also been diagnosed with diabetes, had gone to the hotel to protest against immigration, his defence barrister said.

He had “a general conspiracy theory against anyone and any form of authority”, and had taken a placard referencing the “deep state” and space agency Nasa.

Here’s what The National Pulse reported:

A grandfather imprisoned for two years and eight months for taking part in an anti-immigration protest in Rotherham, England, has been found dead in His Majesty’s Prison (HMP) Moorland. Peter Lynch, 61, carried a placard asserting politicians, police, journalists, and others had been corrupted by the World Economic Forum (WEF), BlackRock, Vanguard, and others at a protest outside a hotel hosting illegal immigrants following the deadly stabbing of three young girls in the town of Southport, allegedly by a migration-background teenager.

The courts admitted Lych’s placard and protest were not unlawful. Still, they chastised him for having “a general conspiracy theory against anyone and any form of authority” and alleged his “racist and provocative” verbal abuse of riot police crossed the line into illegality.

Body camera footage from the day of the protest shows Lynch, a heart attack survivor, telling riot police they “are protecting people who are killing our kids and raping them.”Rotherham is an infamous hotspot for Muslim grooming gang abuse, with working-class white girls being groomed, raped, and pimped by predominantly Muslim men of Pakistani heritage for years while local authorities refused to act for fear they would be accused of racism.

The circumstances of Lynch’s death are under investigation, but sources say he appears to have taken his own life. As anti-immigration protesters were being sentenced, Comcast-owned Sky News previously reported sources saying, “Any right-wing, far-right protester landing up in jail, well, they can expect a pretty cold reception from… [South] Asian gangs inside prison who will be looking out for them.”
