After the absolute TRAIN WRECK of a performance by Kamala Harris during her (alleged) interview with Bret Baier on Fox News, you would think there wouldn’t be much mud left to sling in Kamala’s direction.
By the way, guess what the number one trending hashtag is nationally right now?

But if you thought there really wasn’t any more mud to throw Kamala’s way, you would be wrong. Because even after that TRAIN WRECK interview, I found more mud.
In just 11 seconds, without comment, with zero explanation or post script… and likely no advance warning (you know, sometimes it’s nice to know about a pending attack in advance, maybe set up a NOTAM for the airspace) — but there was none of that. The GOP on X simply came out, and went full SCORCHED EARTH.
If it were illegal to use someone’s words against them in open combat the GOP would be under arrest for this flagrant disregard for Kamala’s human rights. It’s brutal. All kids should leave the room, and you should brace yourself.

Well done, GOP. Classic “then vs now” with just a hint of “the footage determined THAT was a lie” thrown in for good measure. Nice.
The moment leading up to that clip, which now lives in my brain rent free, started when Bret Baier asked Kamala why half the country supported Trump, according to a CNN story on yesterday’s interview. Kamala had just finished rambling on about how President Trump is somehow “unfit to serve”.
“Over the last decade, it is clear to me, and certainly the Republicans who are on stage with me – the former chief of staff to the president, Donald Trump, former defense secretaries, national security adviser and his vice president – one, that he is unfit to serve, that he is unstable, that he is dangerous, and that people are exhausted with someone who professes to be a leader who spends full time demeaning and engaging in personal grievances, and it being about him instead of the American people.”
Why, then, Baier asked, does about half the country support Trump?
“This is an election for president of the United States. It’s not supposed to be easy. It’s not supposed to be – it is not supposed to be a cakewalk for anyone.”
To which Baier tried to get her to insult the people who support Trump. “Are they misguided, the 50%? Are they stupid? What is it?”
Oh, God, I would never say that about the American people. And in fact, if you listen to Donald Trump, if you watch any of his rallies, he’s the one who tends to demean and belittle and diminish the American people. He’s the one who talks about an enemy within. An enemy within, talking about the American people. Suggesting he would turn the American military on the American people.

Of course, President Trump did not say anything about turning the U.S. military on the American people. In point of fact, he was contextually discussing the FACT that the military is capable of handing America’s adversaries whether they be “foreign or domestic” — a completely rational and fitting comment to be made by a President, who must swear on oath to do the same before assuming office. I wonder why she might have a problem with that line of reasoning? But I digress.
According to an NBC article covering the interview, Baier had previously asked her how she could run on a “turn the page” platform when she has been the Vice President for 3-1/2 years; to which she resorted to blaming Trump’s mere existence for the troubles during her own administrative tenure.
“You’ve been vice president for 3½ years,” Baier said “What are you turning the page from?”
Harris mentioned Trump, who has either run for president or served in the job steadily since 2015.
She said she wanted to move past “the decade in which we’ve been burned from the kind of rhetoric that Donald Trump” has used to “divide our country and have Americans literally point fingers at each other.”
It takes a lot to become the number one trending hashtag in the country. I wonder if Kamala will take that as a win? After the beat down she gave her self on an interview stage that SHOULD have been a cakewalk for her, and then getting thrashed openly and mocked by the GOP using NOTHING BUT HER OWN WORDS… she might want to seriously consider counting her #trainwreckkamala achievement as a win — it is likely to be the only one she has for the foreseeable future.
