There are three pivotal forces at play right now that could move the dial big on Election Day 2024 that I’m watching close.
- One is the obvious collapse of the Kamala-Walz campaign. Rumors are starting to seem more tangible that there is panic within the camp, and a civil war raging between Biden’s people and Kamala’s people, and another split between different camps within Kamala’s campaign about how to proceed as her chances of winning tank.
- A second thing to consider is the other side of that coin — President Trump’s campaign is at cruising altitude with tons of momentum still building. News just came out today that almost every poll shows that he has flipped Pennsylvania, and as we reported recently… last week he made consistent gains in 19 different states, including all 6 battle ground states!
- But there is a third concern that can’t be underestimated, and that is the potential for Election Day shenanigans in terms of election integrity. If you ask the Democrats they’ll tell you – of course we’re going to have a fair election! Joe Biden said those exact words from the White House briefing room just the other day (his ONLY appearance there during his presidency!).
I don’t know about you, but those Democrat assurances don’t give me a lot of confidence. If anything… the way democrats are going overboard by putting that line on loop in their soundbites and interviews makes me all the more concerned. And now… this. (I’ll put the full text of that post and a full-screen video below for easier viewing):

They think we are stupid.
The entire episode from 60 Minutes is textbook predictive programming, trying to pre bunk any future allegations, and normalize the public to expect delays in the election. Why? Because they intend to cheat.
ADVERTISEMENTThey intend to delay the election, so they can traffic ballots to deep blue districts in PA, namely Philadelphia, and then steal the most important state in this election, which will like decide the presidency.
They are revealing their entire scheme.
I think upon close inspection, I share exactly the same sentiment communicated in that post. Here’s the full-screen of the video:

So we have a 60 Minutes piece interviewing none other than Al Schmidt, the current head of elections in Pennsylvania being that he is the Secretary of the Commonwealth. He’s a Republican. And by that, I mean that’s his stated party affiliation.
Good detective work should include answering several questions, particularly motive and opportunity. Do you see the room for “opportunity” in explained in that 60 minutes clip? I’m not even getting into how much it “feels” like a psychological set up, yet. But I want to be clear that you only need two things for “opportunity” to be established – time, and access. Motive??? That’s established. I’m past trying to make that case. If the democratic party can still this election, they will. The OPPORTUNITY is the only thing of concern, in my view.
And for all the explanations of why this process has to take SO MUCH LONGER in Pennsylvania… I’m primarily hearing them say one thing with all these excuses and finger pointing: time, and therefore potential access to the votes prior to their being officially counted and logged is increased.
Let me show you another video from the same 60 Minutes interview:
Wow. Listen to the man in charge of Pennsylvania’s Elections. He says that EVERYTHING is on the line in this election. The very foundation of our country. They are in a state of sheer panic.
If everything is on the line if Trump wins, won’t they attempt to cheat somehow?“You… pic.twitter.com/gAcBPxPDDa

I didn’t count, but I’m counting at least a dozen victim cards being played in that short clip — and several of them were played by Cecilia Vega on Schmidt’s behalf!
And don’t forget – his argument for this “technical” issue is that the PA election workers can’t legally start counting the mail-in ballots prior to 7am on Election Day, and the Democrats in the state legislature haven’t alleviated this situation. Want to know who his boss is, who APPOINTED HIM to his position? Gov. Josh Shapiro. You know… a democrat?
As in… the Josh Shapiro who very nearly became Kamala’s VP pick? Hmmm. I wonder why she chose a dolt like Tim Walz over the sharpness and intelligence of Josh Shapiro, Gov. of Pennsylvania?
Did I mention that Joe Biden awarded Al Schmidt the Presidential Citizens Medal for “courage and selflessness” (for his testimony surrounding Jan. 6th…) and for “exemplary contributions to our democracy” (because he refused to even entertain the idea that the 2020 Pennsylvania election had serious questions about the integrity of the votes)? Yep — Biden gave him that award, and then turned right around and gave one to the Michigan Secretary of State… Jocelyn Benson. Here’s CNN with that story:
President Joe Biden on Friday plans to mark the two-year anniversary of the January 6, 2021, insurrection by awarding for the first time in his presidency the Presidential Citizens Medal to 12 people.
Biden is set to deliver remarks and host a ceremony at the White House honoring the dozen individuals chosen for having made “exemplary contributions to our democracy” and shown “courage and selflessness” around the events of January 6, a White House official familiar with the details told CNN.
And here’s the part in that story that mentions Schmidt. Oh, and look who appeared in the list alongside him!
…Al Schmidt, a former Republican city commissioner in Philadelphia publicly mocked by Trump as a “RINO” (Republican in name only) for rejecting claims of widespread election fraud in the city, will be honored.
Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson…”

If you’re not tracking these dots yet… just keep going with me. But if you’re realizing this seems a little off — don’t worry, you’re not the only one. President Trump’s RINO accusations towards Schmidt sure make sense now, after hearing more of the story.
Check out this clip from a Washington Post interview in which Schmidt attempts to play the same woe-is-me victim card, as if he’s just doing the best he can in a tough situation. I’m sorry, Schmidt — you’re story isn’t checking out. I’m beginning to think President Trump labeled you correctly.
The guy who says that the very foundation of our country is at stake in this election is also telling us that it will take days to process mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania again before it even happens…pic.twitter.com/nEwskRmMs5

Part of the issue I have with this, other than the simple timing of the 60 Minutes piece and Schmidt’s historic anti-Trump rhetoric (oh, yeah… did I forget to mention that?), is just how much it feels like a SETUP. I feel as though we’re being conditioned to EXPECT these longer time periods for counting ballots, and thus being conditioned to ACCEPT a set of circumstances that provides all the OPPORTUNITY needed to put “the steal” in motion on Election Day.
According to a CBS News story covering the 60 Minutes interview, we have nothing to worry about; except Trump and his lies. It certainly feels like they’re all reading from the same script to me, working on the same timeline. Check this out:
Pennsylvania is the most pivotal battleground in the race for the White House. With its 19 electoral votes, it is the state where former President Trump and Vice President Harris are spending the most time and money – a combined $436 million between them and their allies.
It’s also where the results could take days to count, due to a state law that prevents mail in ballots from being processed early. The anticipated lag, which dragged out Pennsylvania’s count in 2020, now has election officials bracing for a repeat of conspiracy theories and violence.
At the helm – lifelong Republican Al Schmidt. He stood up to former President Trump and refused to join attempts to overturn his loss four years ago. As secretary of state, Schmidt is doing everything he can between now and election day to assure residents their votes will count – and to take on the lies Trump continues to spread about Pennsylvania.
CBS already played their hand. They want you to know that at the heart of this is Al Schmidt’s fight against the conspiracy theories, violence, and lies perpetrated by President Trump. But check out the next part of the CBS story, highlighting a specific part of the 60 Minutes interview:
Cecilia Vega: What’s the reality? Voter fraud is widespread? Voter fraud never happens?
Al Schmidt: There is no evidence whatsoever that voter fraud takes place– in any way that is widespread at all.
Cecilia Vega: If a non-citizen tried to cast a ballot, would you be able to catch it?
ADVERTISEMENTAl Schmidt: That’s just not something that happens, because when it gets identified, there are severe consequences, whether it’s prosecution and or deportation from the country.
I used to work retail — hardware stores. One of the most frustrating situations was when I would try to order a specific tool or some item to put on the shelf, but management wouldn’t allow me to order the quantity I needed. Their argument was that prior sales didn’t support the need for stocking such-and-such quantity of that item at a time. My argument was that I talked to the customers day after day, and I knew better than those prior sales what quantity constituted being full stocked at any given time — because I knew how many sales we were MISSING by not stocking more than we were.
Why did I tell you all that? I like reminiscing. No, there’s a better reason. Al Schmidt’s answer to whether voter fraud has happened in PA under his watch is based on the same faulty logic of my old hardware store managers. He basically argues that there is no voter fraud because he hasn’t caught any voter fraud, because when he does catch voter fraud the consequences are very severe — but we don’t catch voter fraud.
Ok, George. I mean… Al. That makes a lot of sense, if you’re into circular reasoning, and all. And let me tie that together — Al Schmidt is not a dumb man. Which tells me… in my estimation, he’s probably lying. That’s my unvarnished personal verdict.
Check out this video of Schmidt trying to convince local Republicans in PA that the election is fully fair with no cheating. Watch his eyes. Is he telling the truth? You be the judge:
A top election official in Pennsylvania went on 60 Minutes to try and convince voters that there is absolutely no voter fraud in elections and it didn’t go as planned. His body language speaks volumes.
It is clear that this man is nervous.
Look at all the blinking. He is lying.… pic.twitter.com/ubetlq0pWx— Green Lives Matter (@Ultrafrog17) October 14, 2024
Meanwhile, JD Vance mentioned the concern about voter fraud in PA during his speech in PA today, according to Raw Story:
Vance implied accusations of voter fraud during his speech, telling the crowd that “you have to make the margins so big in Pennsylvania that it doesn’t matter what shenanigans Democrats pull at the last minute.”
Newsweek also pointed out some of what Vance had to say on the issue:
Manufacturing, immigration, crime, the economy, and alleged election fraud in 2020 dominated JD Vance’s Saturday two speeches in Pennsylvania, just weeks out from the election.
Speaking at a Saturday afternoon rally in Johnstown, the Ohio Senator and Republican vice-presidential candidate spoke for 40 minutes, in what has become a routine stop on the campaign trail. The Keystone State is a vital part of both candidates’ strategy to win the White House.
In his 40-minute speech, Vance addressed Johnstown’s industrial heritage, casting himself and Trump as the candidates who would deport millions of “illegal aliens” to secure its economic future, and casting Harris as a candidate who would do nothing to prevent its decline.
He also continued to suggest that the 2020 election was unfair, following on from his Friday New York Times interview, in which he declined five times to acknowledge that Trump lost the election to Biden.
Aside from the obvious anti-Trump bias by that particular Newsweek writer, the point I wanted to make is simply that JD Vance is fixated fairly seriously on the issue of voter irregularities and the possibility for corruption in the election process. The democrats — not so much. Any time they’re asked, they respond as if you’re asked if the sky is on fire. “Are you serious!? Of COURSE it’s going to be a fair election! Don’t be silly!”
And then they scrunch their faces up and squint their eyes, and catch a completely different tone… warning about the violence that President Trump is sitting in his underground villain lair and plotting for Election Day.
The problem with their argument is two-fold:
- I’m not dumb enough to buy their narrative that Trump ever caused violence.
- I’ve never caught President Trump lying to the American people.
But I darn sure have caught them lying, on everything great and small, almost every time they open their mouths lately.
Will there be voter fraud in Pennsylvania? I hope not. But to put a new twist on an old saying from my Dad — Put hope in one hand and the Democrat’s promises in one hand… and well, you might end up with two handfuls of nothing, if the Democratic party has anything to do with it. (And you might want to check for your watch, and your wallet, too!)
No… I’m not buying it. And I’m buying their promises of a “fair election, scouts honor” even less… simply because they’re doubling down on that guarantee.
It doesn’t smell like a trustworthy promise, to me. It smells more like what my Dad would have said you should actually put in that “other” hand. And I’m afraid that’s what Al Schmidt’s promises are worth in this instance, too.
