Kamala Harris Agrees To Fox News Interview, Here’s When

Kamala Harris has agreed to a sit-down interview with Fox News political anchor Bret Baier in Pennsylvania.

Fox News said it will be her first formal interview with the network.

“It will air on the October 16 edition of Baier’s ‘Special Report’ at 6 p.m. ET. Baier will anchor ‘Special Report’ from the battleground state of Pennsylvania that evening,” Fox News wrote.

Per Fox News:

Harris’ running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, joined “Fox News Sunday” for the second straight week on Sunday as the Democratic ticket has amped up media appearances in recent weeks.

“Special Report” is regularly among the most-watched programs in cable news, and the popular Common Ground segment featuring political leaders from across the aisle discussing the issues of the day with the goal of finding middle ground has been a hit this election cycle.

Harris’ first interview with Fox News comes as she’s stepped up her media appearances, albeit with mostly friendly outlets. While she sat for an interview with “60 Minutes” that has been criticized after the network aired two different answers to the same question about Israel, she followed up with friendly interviews with ABC’s “The View,” Stephen Colbert and Howard Stern last week.

From The Hill:

Polls show an incredibly tight race between Harris and former President Trump that is expected to come down to the results in seven swing states.

Harris has been working to shore up support with male voters and Black men in particular. But she has also sought to carve off some conservative voters who may not want to back Trump.

It’s the latest in a series of high-profile national media interviews Harris has sat down for in recent days, including visits to ABC’s “The View” and “The Howard Stern Show.”

Trump, meanwhile, has appeared on a number of conservative podcasts and internet shows in addition to his regular appearances on Fox, and over the weekend he teased a potential chat with popular podcaster Joe Rogan.
