Multiple Counties In Democrat-Led State Reinstate Mask Mandates

Several California counties in the San Francisco Bay Area are reinstating mask mandates in healthcare settings.

“Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara, San Mateo, and Napa counties have reinstated the mask requirements,” KTVU FOX 2 reports.

Health officials issued orders requiring individuals to wear face masks in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and other healthcare facilities.

WATCH:

“The mandates become effective Nov. 1 and will continue through the end of March or April 2025,” KTVU FOX 2 stated.

Although public health agencies have found face masks are useless, the anti-science, authoritarian mandates will return.

“We’re coming up on 5 years since the start of Covid, and parts of California are imposing new mask mandates. Mask mandates don’t work, because for the most part, masks don’t work to prevent the spread of respiratory viruses,” Jenin Younes said.

“Mask mandates are making a comeback in California. My opponent, a Newsom staffer, supports toddler masking. America’s leading masker of 2-year-olds, Xavier Becerra, is plotting a run for governor. We must elect the right people to assure history doesn’t repeat itself,” Rep. Kevin Kiley (R-CA) said.

From The Center Square:

Given the limited nature of the mandate and its restriction to healthcare settings, it does not appear likely that a broader mandate will go into effect.

California had the third-longest COVID-19 mask mandate in the nation, ending only on March 1, with only Hawaii and Washington lifting their mandates after.
