This Saturday, President Trump will hold a rare — and huge — rally in Kamala Harris’ state of California.

The rally will specifically be held in Coachella.

More details on Trump’s upcoming Coachella rally from The Hill:

Former President Trump will hold a rare California rally Saturday, speaking in a deep blue state less than four weeks before Election Day.

Trump will hold a rally in Coachella, a city in Riverside County in Southern California. The former president is expected to highlight rising costs in Vice President Harris’s home state.

“This is the future Harris and Walz want for the rest of America—crippling inflation, unaffordable housing, and sky-high gas prices,” the Trump campaign said in announcing the rally. “If this is the California Dream, it’s every American’s worst nightmare.”

While Trump has ventured to California in the past for fundraisers and press conferences, including as recently as last month, the Saturday event will mark the rare instance of a rally with supporters in the Golden State.

Trump will hold two events Wednesday in Pennsylvania before heading out west.

Times of San Diego added:

Former President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump will bring his campaign to Coachella Saturday, attending a rally at Calhoun Ranch.

An announcement by his campaign about the appearance accused Democrats — notably his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris — of turning the “California Dream” into “a nightmare for everyday Americans.”

“Since Harris and Biden took office, prices have skyrocketed by nearly 20 percent, leaving Californians grappling with crushing costs,” according to the Trump campaign announcement. “Families are struggling to stay afloat, with the average California household losing more than $33,232 since January 2021. Californians are suffocating under rising prices for everything from groceries to housing, thanks to Kamalanomics.”

Trump only rarely makes appearances in Democrat-heavy California, mainly attending private fundraisers. Trump has little chance of actually carrying California on election day.
