Hillary Clinton Renews Call For Mass Censorship, or “We Lose Total Control”

At this point in the game, I think it might just be too much for the anti-freedom democrats to hold their tongues.  They are still lying — don’t get me wrong.  But there are some issues that they just can’t seem to hold back on.

And I’m glad.  The more they talk… the more clarity the American voter gets on just how controlling, tyrannical, and oppressive they really are.

Oh, look — here’s a perfect example!  Hillary Clinton just sat down for an interview with CNN’s Michael Smerconish last night.  And of course, the primary topic was the desperate need to safeguard and protect the Constitutional 1st Amendment for every American and thereby guarantee the life of our Republic by prioritizing it’s lifeblood; namely, freedom of speech.

Yeah, right.  Watch this, and see if you can tell how sarcastic I was really being just then.

Yeah, she’s not exactly a big fan of free speech.  She likes to SAY that she is, just like Kamala likes to SAY that she’s pro-2nd Amendment!  Of course, Kamala also said that she has a gun, and would shoot an intruder if anyone ever broke into her house; and that was right before her campaign had to backtrack and explain that she was just joking… she doesn’t own a gun.

See how that works?  On some things they lie.  And on other things… they flat out tell the truth; but they lie about the danger that’ll materialize if you don’t OBEY their need for control!  One way or another — they are either lying with lies, or lying with the truth.  Even when they’re telling the truth they’re being deceitful!  Age of deceit?  I’d say so.

The crazy thing is… wait — I can’t believe I just said “the” crazy thing.  ONE of the crazy things about this is that she doesn’t just want censorship.  That would be bad enough!  And she doesn’t just want REPURCUSSIONS for saying the “wrong” things.  She specifically wants “deterrence”.  She just recently pushed for jailing Americans for posting what she says is “misinformation”.

Keep in mind… 90% of what I have written today (just today!), would get me locked behind bars in Hillary Clinton’s world and in Kamala Harris’ world.  Watch this… and then let’s talk:

 

As a father, you know what that tells me?  She doesn’t want to make sure society doesn’t somehow bluster itself right off the edge of some violent cliff because we aren’t locked down enough on controlling misinformation.  Again, I’ll say — that would be bad enough!  (“Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.” -Benjamin Franklin)

No, no, no.  That’s not even her real target here.  What she REALLY wants is “deterrence”.  But realize what we’re talking about.  We’re not talking about deterring people from committing some violent act.  That’s not the context.  She wants to deter people from exercising free speech.

Your speech… is thought.  You have free speech to begin with, because we understand the concept of freedom of conscience.  That is, the freedom to THINK as you so please, and act according to what you think best.

If that sounds scary, it’s because it is.  That is FREEDOM.  It really is the bedrock of freedom of speech.  And freedom of speech is the bedrock of FREEDOM.  Period.  Full stop.

Do you see what she hinted at, when she said “there needs to be deterrence”, in that context?  She wasn’t talking about deterring illegal or violent action; she was actually talking about something much deeper.

She wants to control your thought.  She wants, by extension of controlling your speech, to be able to cultivate your THOUGHTS.  Which would mean they are not truly yours anymore.  And that would mean… you are not free, anymore.

This is scary stuff.  She’s a scary person.  They all are.  They really believe this.  And they have every intention of doing exactly that… if they get the chance.  And they are doing almost unimaginable things right now to get that chance.  (re: Hurricane Helene)

Whoops… there I go again with that unapproved “misinformation”.  The only problem is, I believe that it’s true — not misinformation in the least.  And I don’t plan to stop.

So this conversation Hillary had on CNN covered quite a few aspects surrounding the issue of freedom of speech, but specifically repealing Section 230 of the Communications Act that protects online platforms from being liable for what me and you type on them.  You know — the same reason it’s ridiculous and dangerous to hold firearm manufacturers liable for how you use a gun, or to hold a car manufacturer accountable for your poor driving?  Here are more details from what she said via a Fox News report:

Clinton told CNN host Michael Smerconish that while there have been some steps taken at the state level to regulate social media, she wants to see more done by the federal government to moderate content.

“We can look at the state of California, the state of New York, I think some other states have also taken action,” Clinton said.

“But we need national action, and sadly, our Congress has been dysfunctional when it comes to addressing these threats to our children,” she added.

Clinton said she believes the issue should be “at the top of every legislative political agenda” and called for the repealing of Section 230 of the Communications Act, which protects online platforms from being held liable for third-party content, such as user content on social media. This immunity applies to the content itself and the removal of content in certain circumstances.

“We should be, in my view, repealing something called Section 230, which gave, you know, platforms on the internet immunity because they were thought to be just pass-throughs, that they shouldn’t be judged for the content that is posted,” Clinton said.

“But we now know that that was an overly simple view, that if the platforms, whether it’s Facebook or Twitter/X or Instagram or TikTok, whatever they are, if they don’t moderate and monitor the content, we lose total control,” she continued. “And it’s not just the social and psychological affects, it’s real life.”

Ah — did you catch it?  There was that “real life” DANGER that we must all cower and fear to the point that we give up those “ESSENTIAL LIBERTIES” that the founding fathers thought so highly of!  No, I don’t think that I will.  And I hope you don’t, either.

Another crazy thing about all this is how easily the anti-freedom democrats project their own fear of freedom on their conservative counterparts, and pretend for all that they are worth that it’s the CONSERVATIVES who are really after everyone’s freedom!  I have always wondered how they keep a straight face.  But then I see Tim Walz’ face in this video… and I know a “straight” face is something that is far, far beyond his capacity at this point.  (If you don’t think Tim Walz would have me locked up for simply saying that… you’re crazier than he is!)

They literally think we’re all dumb enough to believe the lies they tell just because they say them over, and over, and over again.  The problem is… too often, they have been right.  Too many people have believed those lies.  But you know what fixes that?  Contrasting it with the truth.  Just simply stating the truth over… and over… and over again.  Every time they tell a lie, just hold up the truth.  And let the fact that “truth rings true” play out.

I think that’s happening, more and more.  I think the democrats have pushed so far that many among their own number are no longer willing to pretend that they agree any longer!  That’s one reason former democrats are abandoning the democrat party, and flocking to support President Trump!

But I don’t want to rely on that.  I don’t think we should.  When, as the New York Post reports, these democrats tell us openly that they want to JAIL us for exercising free speech — we need to believe them.

Last month, Clinton suggested during an appearance on MSNBC that Americans accused of interfering in U.S. elections by spreading “propaganda” promoting former President Trump should be civilly or even criminally charged, as she cited the 2016 election in which she lost to Trump.

She’s not waxing eloquent.  She really wants to lock us up for refusing to be “deterred” from thinking freely.  Why???

Because if we think freely, and speak freely, and LIVE freely… we threaten her power.  We threaten the power of those she represents.

And that… is exactly why we all must keep doing so, no matter what.
