Famous Pop Singer Joins The “Black Eye Club”

I just recently ran an article about the “Black Eye Club”.

In case you missed it, I’ll put the link right here:

And we suddenly have a new member.

NOTE: I am not claiming this person is Satanic.  And we don't even know how or why she has a black eye (more on that in a moment).  But we do know that she suddenly has a black eye and is being very cryptic about it.

She posted these two photos without much context:

US Magazine reports that not only did Lorde post the cryptic photos, but she also deleted all other posts from her Instagram:

Lorde is raising eyebrows due to her recent social media behavior.

On Monday, September 30, the Grammy winner wiped everything from her Instagram profile except for a cryptic new post.

“DYHTS? © 𝑳ĿŁု⑷♶⚤ ,” she wrote via Instagram, sharing several selfies showcasing what appeared to be a black eye.

In the carousel of photos, Lorde, 27, is seen driving around Los Angeles with a visible bruise below her right eye. She also shared a picture of a disc from ProHealth Advanced Imaging, which may provide answers to her apparent injury.

While the bruises may appear troubling to some, some fans didn’t appear to be too concerned about the “Royals” singer. In the comments section, a few followers reacted to the post with references to her music.

“Someone said she got punched for the love club,” one fan wrote in an ode to her 2013 album. Another user seemingly recalled her 2017 single “Green Light” when they added, “Did you forget to wait for that green light…?”

Others simply believe this might be a way for Lorde to tease her upcoming album. In her latest post, the artist shared a photo of a hat that stated, “Do you have the stones?” The initials for Lorde’s caption are also DYHTS.

“She’s hinting that she has a ‘hit’ coming,” one fan speculated in the comments section. Another user added, “Excellent way to re-enter social media. Lead with the black eye and the enigmatic baseball cap. I like it, Lorde. I like it. Keep these people on their toes.”

Over the summer, Lorde seemingly teased her long-awaited fourth album by sharing a brief clip via Instagram of herself nodding along to a catchy techno beat with the caption, “Will be back in touch.”

New Zealand singer Lorde has worried her fans after wiping her Instagram feed before sharing several photos of herself sporting a black eye.

The cryptic post, shared to her social media account on Tuesday, featured a handful of selfies of the 27-year-old sitting in a car with a bruise under her eye.

Another photo, shared to the same post, showed Lorde sitting at a restaurant, where her black eye was also visible.

The caption read, “DYHTS?”.

The acronym was followed by several symbols, in which the letters ‘L4’ were among them, which some have deemed as a hint Lorde is preparing to release her much-anticipated fourth album.

Others, however, expressed confusion and fears for the Grammy winner, with her post racking up thousands of concerned comments.

“GIRL THIS IS SO CONFUSING,” one fan wrote.

“So concerning,” another wrote.

“Posting this with no context is crazy. It’s probably all for aesthetic, but hope you’re okay girl,” a third added.

“WHAT DOES IT MEAN,” another begged.

Lorde, real name Ella Yelich-O’Connor, shot to fame as a teenager in 2012 with the release of her hit single Royals.

Fans of the singer have been eagerly awaiting an announcement on new music, with Lorde teasing her upcoming fourth album several times over the past year.

She released her third studio album, Solar Power, to much fanfare in 2021, with the album marking her first drop in four years following 2017’s Melodrama.

We've covered the "Black Eye Club" many times before here at WLTReport and it's so strange that we keep adding new members!

But seemingly only famous people.

Have you ever known someone in real life (friend or family member) who got a black eye?

I can't think of one!

I'm talking about the "Black Eye Club".

Many of you have probably heard of this, but in case you haven't get ready for your mind to be blown.

How many adults have you known in your life that have ever suffered a black eye?

A really bad one....a huge black and blue shiner?

Me?

None, personally.

I have never rolled into work and saw Hank in the office next door suddenly have a huge black eye on Wednesday morning.

But for powerful political people and celebrities?

It happens all the time!

From the NY Post, here is the "official" story:

Sen. Mitt Romney was knocked unconscious when he fell in Boston over the weekend, leaving him with “a lot of stitches” and a black eye.

“I took a fall. Knocked me unconscious. But I’m doing better,” Romney told reporters on Capitol Hill Monday night.

The Utah Republican said he was visiting his grandchildren when he got injured.

With noticeable bruising under his right eye, Romney infused some humor into the situation.

“I went to CPAC, that was a problem,” the Republican lawmaker joked, referring to the Conservative Political Action Conference that ended Sunday.

Romney was not invited to the marquee event after receiving backlash over his vote to impeach ex-President Donald Trump.

Asked how many stitches he received, Romney claimed he was not sure.

“A lot of stitches. I don’t know how many. I asked the doctor how many stitches and she said, ‘I don’t know,’ but it’s all through my eyebrow and my lip.”

Now I told you I wasn't going to draw any conclusions...and I'm not.

I don't know what is going on, I really don't.

But I DO know when something is not right, and I will say that....this is not right.

And this is not a coincidence.

Even The Sun has even noticed the trend and had this to say (sure, it's all just "NUTTY"):

Actors, musicians, politicians, and even the Pope have all been snapped with shiners recently – sparking claims they are members of a secret society.

Conspiracy theorists claim Illuminati recruits are forced to ‘eat pain’ during high-level initiation rituals.

They claim bruised left eyes – known as ‘Illuminati shiners’ are marks given to those who have scaled their way to the top of the sinister organisation.

Radio host Sherry Shriner – who wrote ‘Interview With The Devil’ – said: “You cannot be on TV now, without signing on the dotted line.

“The bizarre recurrence of facial bruises on Illuminati politicians and entertainers has resulted in speculation that their souls have been replaced in a satanic ritual called ‘soul scalping'”.

Shriner, who died last year, claimed all of the world’s leaders have been soul-scalped.

She also claimed to have been able to speak to the devil.

Among the celebs to have sported black eyes over the years are Adam Sandler, Prince Philip, George W Bush, and Liz Hurley.

Prince Andrew showed off one in 2017, while Prince Phillip reportedly “woke up” with one one morning in 2013.

Gossip columnist Perez Hilton claimed a black eye was given to him by Polo Molina – the manager of the Black-Eyed Peas.

Pope Francis had a bad eye cut last year, which he attributed to an accident in the ‘Pope-mobile’.

And George W Bush claimed he had been hit in the face by a microphone stand during a speech.

And I have to end with this.

They don't control him.

Period.
