Melania Shares The Story of Her First Date With Donald…

I’m not generally a fan of the phrase “So and so Breaks Their Silence!” as if it was some sort of wildly dramatic event, but in reality they just hadn’t made a public comment for a couple hours.  There was no vow of silence taken, and nothing to break.

But in the case of Melania Trump, she has been fairly quiet since 2020, laying very low.

In fact, it has even led some to believe she is not supportive of her husband or his new run for President.

It turns out nothing could be farther from the truth and she has now truly “broken her silence” in a wide-ranging new interview with Fox News.

I especially loved this part where she describes their first date and how they ended up married:

Here's what The Independent reported:

Former first lady Melania Trump is now a bestselling author, as calculated by Amazon’s sales rankings.

Her forthcoming memoir, Melania, is the #1 seller in Amazon’s “Books” category, as of Friday afternoon. It is scheduled for an October 8 release.

Amazon calculates its bestseller list based on actual sales or downloads of its books, and says it updates the chart “frequently.” On Friday, the #2 spot was occupied by a childrens’ book penned by YouTuber Ms. Rachel, with Dr. Casey Means in the #3 position, a paean by Vivek Ramaswamy to Donald Trump’s “America First” movement at #4, followed by the deluxe limited edition of Onyx Storm by fantasy author Rebecca Yarros, whose Empyrean book series is being adapted for television by Amazon Studios.

‘A Warning To All Americans’: Melania Trump Takes Aim At FBI Over 2022 Mar-A-Lago Raid

'A Warning To All Americans': Melania Trump Takes Aim At FBI Over 2022 Mar-A-Lago Raid

As Melania Trump prepares for the release of her forthcoming memoir, she is becoming more publicly outspoken regarding the ongoing attacks on her family, and in particular her husband President Donald Trump.

Most recently, she issued a statement regarding the 2022 FBI raid of a private residence at the Mar-A-Lago resort in Florida.

According to The Hill:

“I never imagined my privacy would be invaded by the government here in America,” she said in the video. “The FBI raided my home in Florida and searched through my personal belongings. This is not just my story, it serves as a warning to all Americans, a reminder that our freedom and rights must be respected.”

Melania Trump’s video ended with an image of her upcoming book, “Melania,” which comes out Oct. 1.

Former President Trump has criticized the FBI’s raid of Mar-a-Lago as “politically motivated.” The agents recovered over 100 classified documents and folders. Trump was facing 40 charges related to his alleged mishandling of classified records and attempts to obstruct the government’s attempt to return them. U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon in July dismissed the case, ruling special counsel Jack Smith was not lawfully appointed. Smith shortly after appealed the ruling.

The ex-president said in late 2022 that Melania Trump felt “very violated” after the FBI executed the search of their home.

She has also recently weighed in on the assassination attempt on her husband during a campaign event earlier this year. Former CNN host Don Lemon could not resist the opportunity to mock her in response:

Melania Trump has also released a video detailing some of the topics she covers in her new book:

Here's how Axios reported on her announcement about the memoir:

Former first lady Melania Trump wants to "clarify the facts" about her life, she said in a Thursday video previewing her first memoir that will be released about a month before the election.

Why it matters: The direct plea to the public is unusual for the wife of former President Trump, as she has stayed largely off the campaign trail during former his current White House bid.

"Writing this memoir has been a deeply personal and reflective journey for me," she said in the video.

"As a private person who has often been the subject of public scrutiny and misrepresentation, I feel a responsibility to clarify the facts. I believe it is important to share my perspective, the truth."

Fox News provided some additional coverage of her recent outspokenness:
