Daughter Of Kari Lake Accosted While Registering Voters On College Campus

Ruby Halperin, the daughter of GOP Senate candidate Kari Lake, said someone threw their drink at her and ran away while registering voters at Arizona State University.

“As I was registering voters today at ASU, a radical leftist threw their whole beverage on me and ran away. THIS IS THE LEFT. They know we are winning this election and it scares them. GET UP AND VOTE TRUMP,” Halperin said.

“They know that thousands of kids at every university are registering Republican. They know that they are losing the young vote because young Americans know their future is on the line and it’s the America First Republican party that wants to make their future great again,” Kari Lake responded.

“Where is the news media in giving this coverage?? If the tables were turned and a young Democrat was registering other students to vote and a Republican poured a bottle of soda on that Democrat student the news media would be ALL OVER THIS. Shame on the compromised Arizona news media,” Lake said in another post.

Kari Lake and Charlie Kirk appeared at the voter registration drive, according to The Arizona State Press.

“Today, while I was registering voters at ASU, a radical leftist threw a drink at me and ran away. I was shocked, then a little bit angry, but now, I’m proud. Because I realized that this means they know they’re losing. This isn’t about my mom. This isn’t about President Trump. This is about us, the young generation, breaking free from all of the liberal indoctrination we’ve been receiving, thinking for ourselves, and proudly declaring that we’re ready to put America First,” Halperin told the Arizona Globe.

The Globe reached out to Arizona State and was told by a university spokesperson, “We are looking into it. If a student was involved and identified, we will address it via the Student Code of Conduct.”

Globe readers will recall that Arizona State was home to some of last year’s more notorious incidents of intolerance directed at any viewpoint not sanctioned by the progressive elite.

“We’re going to get you registered to vote, we’re going to save our country and we’re going to make America great again,” Lake said at the event, according to The Arizona State Press.

During the event, Kirk made rounds with students, handing out copies of his book “Right Wing Revolution: How to Beat the Woke and Save the West” and signing “Make America Great Again” hats.

Kirk, the founder and president of Turning Point USA, a conservative group that mobilizes high school and college-age students, came fresh off a run with social media stardom after debating liberal college students on the YouTube channel Jubilee.

“We need you to register to vote, we need you to engage so we can show America that this conservative movement is growing,” Afonso Machado, a freshman studying political science, said. Machado helped register voters and set up the event with College Republicans at ASU.

Liam Floyd, a junior studying business, echoed this sentiment.

“It’s important to have the young minds collaborating (and) working together,” he said. “Opposition is welcome. Come share ideas — that’s really what university is all about.”
