The People’s President: Trump Buys Mother Of Three Groceries At Pennsylvania Market

While en route to his rally in Indiana, Pennsylvania, President Trump made a pitstop at a grocery store.

Trump stopped at Sprankle’s Supermarket in Kittanning, PA, and was greeted by over 1,000 supporters.

While in the store, President Trump saw a mother of three checking out and offered to pay for her groceries.

As the 45th President handed her the money, he shared, We’ll do that for you at the White House,” too.

Here’s what Trib Live reported:

Earlier, hundreds of people gathered outside Sprankle’s Supermarket in Kittanning as former President Donald Trump stopped at the store on his way to the rally.

Trump arrived at the store around 5:50 p.m. and stayed for 20 minutes. Security was tight, and vehicles were repeatedly shuffled to obscure sight lines from behind barricades. Two snipers kept watch from atop a school bus parked by the front entrance.

About 50 people, including employees and media, were allowed in the supermarket.

Trump is the first presidential candidate to visit Kittanning since Bill Clinton, according to several residents. John F. Kennedy also visited the borough, they said.

Robert Gill, 40, of Ford City came to the gathering with a bullhorn. He used it a few times, including an attempt to lead the crowd in a prayer for Trump’s protection, he said.

“These are dark times, ” he said, wearing a shirt depicting Trump after he was shot in the ear at a rally in Butler County.

Not everyone there was all-in on Trump, though. Tim Shafer, a Kittanning resident who calls himself the bravest Democrat in Armstrong County, brought a sign that read “Trump go to prison 2024.”
