According to News 12 reporting locally, lines of cars were forming prior to the gates of the Coliseum opening at 8am this morning!

Supporters of former President Donald Trump are ready and waiting outside the Nassau Coliseum for Wednesday night’s scheduled rally.

Michael Kay came from Manhattan on Tuesday to wait close to 24 hours in line for the event.

“I’m a New Yorker, he’s a New Yorker and this might be the last time we ever have a chance to see an event with him, a rally. It’s rare for him to come to New York, he usually goes to the swing states, so it’s kind of a historic moment before he has the opportunity to become president again. I want to be a part of history,” said Kay.

A line of cars formed outside of the gates to the Coliseum Wednesday morning at Hempstead Turnpike extending to the Meadowbrook Parkway ramp before it opens at 8 a.m. According to officials, people can park at Eisenhower Park or Mitchel Field and walk over to the Coliseum too.

Officials say a total of 60,000 people have already signed up for the rally but that only 16,000 people will be allowed inside.

Check out this report from last night with the streets already starting to fill with crowds long before the sun came up, in anticipation of tonight’s rally!
