A custom knife like no other was presented to President Trump yesterday by Gold Star families in Salt Lake City, Utah. And trust me when I tell you — this may be the most historically connected knife on the planet!
NOT ONLY was it forged from steel recovered from the door that ISIS leader al Baghdadi was cowering behind, just before he met justice at the hands of a U.S. warrior… but just listen!

Wow! In case you missed any of that crazy description, here’s a recap of the materials that went into building this amazing knife, from the Post Millennial:
“The blade has forged steel from the door that al-Baghdadi was hiding behind,” Ohara told the fundraiser audience. “The guard is eighteenth century wrought iron from a wagon wheel that crossed the US on the Oregon trail. The handle is white oak from the last known tree that George Washington planted that fell at Mt. Vernon at 240 years old.”
“And the backdrop is the actual shirt the operator wore when he shot al-Baghdadi in the face,” Ohara added.
The Gold Star families gave the knife to President Trump as a token of their appreciation, having previously been able to meet with him for a whopping six hours. Darin Hoover, Gold Star father of Staff Sgt. Taylor Hoover, explains in this video taken during the ceremony what it meant to the families to have met with Trump:

Here’s more from the Post Millennial about the event where President Trump received the amazing gift:
The GOP nominee stopped his speech to allow for the Gold Star family members all to come up on stage with him along with Lucas Ohara, the blacksmith who made the knife.
Darin Hoover, the father of deceased Staff Sgt. Taylor Hoover, spoke to introduce the families and told the audience of their previous time with Trump at Bedminster.
“We were able to be invited down to Bedminster, after one of our long, long meetings [in Congress],” Hoover told the audience. “Where we spent six hours with this wonderful man back here.”
Hoover spoke of Trump’s compassion and care for the families as they grieved for their children during the visit last year. He then handed it off to Ohara, the owner of Grizzly Forge, to present the knife.
As you heard in the video of Gold Star father Darin Hoover, President Trump promised to get answers concerning the deaths of their family members “when” he once again occupies the White House. For the memories of their fallen family members, I pray he has the opportunity to fulfill that promise.
