REPORTS Say Secret Service Identified The Shooter and May Have Shot First…Unclear If Shooter Even Got Off a Shot!

Reports are still unconfirmed, but as of right now it is being reported that the US Secret Service had the Trump shooter identified before he started shooting and may in fact have shot at him first.

It is also unclear if the alleged shooter was able to fire back any shots in return or if the only shots fired were from the Secret Service.

From Charlie Kirk:

Sources I spoke with informed me that the USSS advance team was scouting the holes ahead of President Trump as he was golfing. Agents spotted the suspect in the tree line in possession of a semi-automatic rifle which they believe to be an AK-47 or similar. The agents either exchanged fire with him, or else it was only the agents shooting at the suspect—this remains unclear. The suspect immediately fled into the trees and initially managed to evade agents, but was quickly apprehended and is now in law enforcement custody.

And here:

The NY Post has walked back its original report that said President Trump was not the target. The article has been updated to this: “Initial reports suggested two people were firing at each other. However, sources said investigators now believe the Secret Service agent was the only shooter.”
