Comedian Will Ferrell Releases New Documentary Supporting Transgenders

Comedian Will Ferrell is set to release a new documentary that promotes acceptance of transgenderism.

In the documentary “Will & Harper,” Ferrell and his close friend and former head writer at SNL, Harper Steele, go on a cross-country trip after Harper comes out as transgender.

The movie will hit select theaters and be released on Netflix on September 27.

While we’ve only gotten an insufferable trailer for this Indie Doc/Buddy Comedy so far, you can already tell what it’s going to be. Ferrell and his old pal go on a road trip through Trump’s America, but the real journey is the friends they made along the way. Eye roll.

The trailer shows them at Walmart, at a dive bar, a rally car race — you know, all the places you’d expect to find Anti-Trans Hate™ — but brief glimpses show everyone being perfectly friendly. So the message is likely to be: see, Americans love trans people, it’s perfectly natural; it’s just those bad MAGA extremists ruining it for the rest of us.

Will Ferrell has been applauded by fans for his new documentary with Harper Steele, Will & Harper.

The comedian, 57, was one of a small group of Steele’s family and friend’s who received an email from the former Saturday Night Live writer announcing they were a trans woman in 2021.

The subsequent Netflix documentary, directed by Josh Greenbaum, follows the pair as they embark on a 16-day road trip across the US together to reflect on what this “new version” of Steele means for their decades-long friendship.
