Another REVERSAL Coming? Judge Blocks Ballots in North Carolina

Robert F Kennedy Jr.’s win in Michigan might not be the only state that removes his name from the ballot.

You see, the State Board of Elections in North Carolina voted last week to reject his request to do just that.

But now a North Carolina court ruling just delayed ballots with Kennedy’s name.

They’ll better settle this quickly.

Replacement ballots aren’t just lying around.

They’ll have to reprint millions of new ones and ship them out. And soon!

The deadline is drawing near.

The Hill reports:

Former President Trump welcomed a court ruling that could mean Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s name will no longer appear on ballots in North Carolina, acknowledging the risk Kennedy could pose to him in battleground states.

North Carolina’s State Board of Elections voted last week to reject Kennedy’s request for removal. He challenged the decision, and a Wake County Superior Court ruled Thursday that he must remain on the ballot.

However, a judge halted the state from distributing mail-in ballots that still have Kennedy’s name on them Friday, delaying the start of voting for a possible appeal.

“And that sounds like a bad thing for him. It’s not, it’s actually a great thing,” Trump said Friday in remarks to leaders of the Fraternal Order of Police in Charlotte. “He’s an incredible team player.”

NBC News adds:

As a third-party presidential candidate, Kennedy had fought to secure ballot access. But after he dropped out of the race and endorsed former President Donald Trump, he soughtto remove himself as an option for voters, as polling indicates his presence on the ballot could hurt the Republican nominee.

The North Carolina State Board of Elections ordered election officials in an email late Friday morning not to mail ballots out.

“Obviously, this will be a major undertaking for everyone. Our attorneys are reviewing the order and determining how to move forward. No decision has been made on whether this ruling will be appealed,” said Paul Cox, general counsel for the state election authority.

Reprinting ballots in North Carolina would be a pricey undertaking that could significantly delay the distribution of mail ballots, thousands of which were supposed to go to overseas and military voters as early as Friday.

They better keep an eye on these ballots and ensure they get destroyed.
