VIDEO: Did JD Vance Just Get Booed By Firefighters?

Vice Presidential candidate JD Vance didn’t receive a warm welcome while speaking to Boston’s International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF).

As Vance got on the stage, he was welcomed with some cheers but also was met with boos from the crowd.

Later in his speech, Vance was booed again when he stated he and Trump were the most “pro-worker” ticket in history.

Vance, after making his speech, took to X and wrote, “President Trump and I will go anywhere and speak to anybody. Today I was honored to speak at the IAFF convention.”

“To all the firefighters and first responders, especially those who lost their jobs because of Kamala’s vaccine mandate, we’re going to fight for you,” added Vance.

Here’s the moment the crowd booed Vance when Vance stated he and Trump were the most “pro-worker” ticket in history:

Per Newsweek:

Sen. JD Vance was booed by firefighters at a convention Thursday as he attempted to woo one of the country’s biggest unions.

Vance, whose address to the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) in Boston was a late addition to the schedule following an appearance by his rival Tim Walz, told the first responders that they were the “embodiment” of the American spirit.

In a wide ranging speech that touched on everything from inflation to drug addiction, the Republican Vice Presidential nominee faced a tough crowd and was repeatedly booed by attendees.

“It sounds like we got some fans and some haters here,” Vance said. “That’s ok. Let me tell you my side.”

Per Axios:

Republican vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance was booed by a firefighters union audience during his speech at their conference on Thursday.

Vance’s speech was a day after Democratic VP nominee Tim Walz appealed to the same crowd as both tickets vie for the holdout labor union’s endorsement.

“Semper fi, guys. Sounds like we’ve got some fans and some haters,” Vance said after greeting the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) members.
