Evidence has come to light strongly suggesting that a grand jury has been empaneled by a U.S. Attorney (in essence, the U.S. Dept. of Justice) in order to explore possible criminal charges related to the investigation surrounding the assassination attempt on President Donald Trump.
So far this is not being covered by any mainstream legacy news media.
Here is what is being reported according to Independent Journalist Jack Posobiec. American First Legal, a conservative non-profit legal group, filed a records request with the community college where the alleged shooter attended classes. According to Posobiec, the result was a denial letter, but the obligatory reason given for the denial was very informative.
Posobiec hit X.com with the alleged “SCOOP” this morning:
SCOOP: US Attorney Has Empaneled Grand Jury to Consider Criminal Charges in Trump Assassination Investigationhttps://t.co/d3FEb3I1K5https://t.co/d3FEb3I1K5

According to the news site Human Events, where Posobiec is the Senior Editor, this is what happened:
A letter obtained by Human Events from America First Legal reveals that a records request for information on would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks was denied because those records are “within the scope of a grand jury subpoena.”
The letter, from the Community College of Allegheny County in response to attorney Wally Zimolong, denies the request for records on Crooks pertaining to his student files, records, documents, communication, disciplinary records, or other data containing his name.
ADVERTISEMENT“Please be advised that your request is denied on the basis that it requests records that relate to an ongoing criminal investigation, which are exempt from disclosure,” the letter reads.
“Specifically,” the letter continues, “the records that you have requested are within the scope of a grand jury subpoena issued to CCAC by the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and which the U.S. Attorney’s Office has confirmed relate to an ongoing criminal investigation.”
In a nutshell, the response indicates that the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) has received a subpoena from the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania for information to be supplied for a grand jury in an ongoing criminal investigation.
And the information that America First Legal requested was “within the scope” of the same information requested by U.S. Attorneys, for this grand jury.
I want to be very careful in jumping to any conclusions about what that may mean, or what the true purpose of that grand jury might be. The fact is — there is no further information to go on. There is a wide array of possibilities that could be behind the use of a grand jury in the ongoing investigation into the assassination attempt. Some of them, obviously, could be monumental in scope. And some of them could be very routine, and mundane – just another tool in the toolbox as investigators investigate.
I have my suspicions. And if I am right, or if I am wrong — you will be the first to know. As of right now, that is the only true news surrounding this information.
In a time of fake news, “official narratives”, and deceit of all kinds, I do not wish to add to that misinformation overload. I do, however, want to bring you the information that the mainstream will not report; regardless of their reasons for not doing so.
Following is a video of Jack Posobiec discussing the information that he said came from America First Legal:

So there it is. A grand jury has been empaneled in the course of the ongoing investigation into the assassination attempt of President Trump, and the only purpose (in fact, the stated purpose according to that letter from the college) is for a criminal investigation, which may or may not lead to criminal charges.
Who may be charged? We do not know. But we will be watching to see what comes of this information. And as I said – you will be the first to know!
The full letter from the college denying the information request, as made available on Human Events, can be seen in it’s entirety below:
