ANOTHER Massive Cell Phone Outage Takes AT&T Offline For Hours


Stop me if you’ve heard this one before….

The AT&T cell phone network went down yesterday in dozens of states for multiple hours.

If that sounds familiar, it’s because it’s happened many times before, the most recent of which was less than a year ago.

The outage affected the 911 reporting system as well as basic phone calls, text messaging and the Internet.

In short, if you had AT&T, you had a brick for most of the day instead of a cell phone.

AT&T customers in parts of the country are reporting an outage that’s left them without service or their iPhone devices stuck in SOS mode.

Reports of an outage peaked just before 6 p.m. CST on Downdetector, with more than 5,700 users complaining of a service disruption. By 8:35 p.m., the reports fell to just over 3,400.

According to USA Today, a company spokesperson said AT&T is working to fix a “software issue that may be disrupting the ability of some of our customers to connect to our wireless network.”

The spokesperson told the outlet that the outage seems to be affecting customers in the Midwest and on the East Coast, but Downdetector shows reports coming in from California too.

Meanwhile, in some states, the outage is reportedly affecting calls to 911.

City officials in North Little Rock, Arkansas, said they were notified by AT&T that the outage could prevent customers from reaching emergency dispatchers.

“We are engaged and working to fully isolate and resolve the issue. The specific cause of the service outage has not yet been determined,” AT&T said in a statement to the city.

Alex Jones suggests it’s just a dry run before the big one, perhaps to occur right at the time of the election?

9to5Mac reports on the long history of problems the AT&T network has suffered, as well as the fines imposed for those outages:

An AT&T 911 outage back in 2023 has seen the company fined almost a million dollars. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) says that the carrier not only failed to provide adequate backup coverage, but also didn’t let 911 centers know what had happened.

If this all sounds familiar, it is. The carrier was previously fined $5.25M for 911 outages back in 2017, and may well face a further sanction for another outage earlier this year

AT&T 911 outages

More than 15,000 emergency calls were affected by two nationwide AT&T 911 outages in 2017.

The first outage occurred on March 8th and lasted for five hours, affecting 12,600 calls to 911. The second outage occurred on May 1st and lasted 47 minutes, resulting in 2,600 failed calls.

The company promised to make changes to ensure it couldn’t happen again, and to more promptly tell 911 centers what was going on.

Those changes didn’t seem to work too well, as there was another outage in August 2023, and the carrier again failed to keep affected 911 centers informed. The FCC says that this failure was due to human error.

The 911 outage occurred during testing of portions of AT&T’s 911 network. During the testing, an AT&T contractor’s technician inadvertently disabled a portion of the network, and AT&T’s system did not automatically adjust to accommodate the disabled portion of the network, resulting in the outage. The testing was not associated with any planned maintenance activities and, thus, did not undergo the stringent technical review that would have otherwise been conducted. The 911 outage lasted for 1 hour and 14 minutes, resulting in over 400 failed 911 calls.

An even larger failure occurred in February of this year.

A large-scale AT&T outage across the US has been acknowledged by the carrier, which says it is investigating […] Multiple 911 centers have reported that users have been unable to use the emergency number.

Meanwhile, Erik Prince told Patrick Bet-David that the 2023 outage was actually a cyber attack by China that was covered up.

Patrick Bet-David had someone on his show today who I’ve heard about before but didn’t really know much about.

I made the mistake of hitting “Play” just to listen to a bit and then I couldn’t put it down.

There was so much in here that caught my attention but one thing in particular that I will share with you in a just a moment.

But first, if you’re like me and maybe know the name but don’t really know much about him, here’s a short bio of who this man is:

Erik Prince is an American businessman and former Navy SEAL officer, best known for founding the private security company Blackwater USA. Born on June 6, 1969, in Holland, Michigan, Prince has been a prominent figure in the defense and security industries, demonstrating a keen acumen for entrepreneurship and innovation throughout his career.

After graduating from the United States Naval Academy, Prince served as a Navy SEAL, where he acquired a wealth of experience in special operations. This experience laid the groundwork for his entrepreneurial ventures. In 1997, he founded Blackwater USA, which quickly grew into one of the most successful private security firms in the world. The company, now known as Academi, provided a range of services, including security training, logistics, and protection services to government and civilian clients globally. Under Prince’s leadership, Blackwater played a significant role in supporting U.S. military efforts in various conflict zones, showcasing the effectiveness and professionalism of private security forces.

Beyond Blackwater, Erik Prince has been involved in other ventures that leverage his expertise in security and logistics. Ok, very good…now on to the clip that really caught my attention.

PBD asks him what he thinks of the AT&T cell phone outage from last week.

I thought it was very interesting how he phrased the question because the “official story” has shifted from it just being a bug in AT&T’s software to a solar flare to a cyber attack to….unknown.

The most illogical cover story I heard was that it was a bug in AT&T’s software.

Why?

Because the outage didn’t just affect AT&T — it affected all major carriers.

So the AT&T bug story to me is ludicrous.

So I was fascinated to see PBD ask Prince what he thought it was and he didn’t even hesitate:  “A warning from China”.

Or perhaps more accurately, I don’t entirely know for sure (and even Prince says he is 70% confident) — but I know which cover stories don’t make any sense!

WE INVESTIGATE: What Really Caused The Huge Cellular Outage Yesterday?

We had two VERY strange events happen yesterday.

I’m sure you noticed but I have a lot of questions and I want to share those with you — as well as the answers I am finding so far.

The first big event was we all woke up yesterday to a massive cellular outage.  I’m sure you noticed.  It was all over the news, and if you had AT&T you certainly knew when you had no connection.  .

More on that in just one moment.

Then mid-day we had a massive cyber attack hit pharmacies.  Very strange.

Let’s start with the Solar Flare….

Early reports yesterday were all claiming it was a new “solar flare” from the sun that knocked out the cellular networks:

Of course most people quickly realized that made no sense for several reasons….

And then people started to clown that story joking that Verizon had deployed a “Solar Flare defense” and AT&T did not, which of course is absurd:

So by the end of the day we ended up with AT&T claiming it was just a software bug — oopsies!

So then the second question everyone is asking is whether the “cyber strike” on the pharmacies is related to the AT&T event.

Kind of strange for two big electronic events to happen on the same day.

People started asking questions (me included):

Grok claims there is no evidence to suggest the two events are linked, but notes the very strange timing and similarities of the events:

Ok, so where does that leave us?

It leaves your humble correspondent very skeptical.

Sorry folks, I can smell something funny a mile away and I don’t buy the official stories here.

It feels like Predictive Programming to me….

It feels like they want you to get used to the big services and big things like pharmacies going down.

Why?

Because I think we will have a real outage coming soon.

Almost certainly before the election.

Predictive Programming?

A test run?

They ALWAYS test these things out ahead of time, was this the test on the AT&T network?

They test for two reasons….One, to see if it works and if there are any kinks they need to work out.  And Two, to see how everyone responds.

So if this is a test run, what’s the main event?

I continue to believe it will be an EMP or something that resembles an EMP.

What is the biggest threat to America….right now?

Joe Biden?  Certainly he’s not helping things.

Barack Obama?  The puppet master behind Biden.

Soros?  The puppet master behind Biden.

China?  Always on the list.

Democrats?

RINOs?

Election theft?

Nuclear attack?

All of these things are serious threats, but I want to tell you about something often not discussed….but the impact could be bigger than anything above.

Yes, really.

It’s called an EMP attack.

What’s an “EMP” anyway?

Good question!

An EMP, or Electromagnetic Pulse, is a powerful burst of energy that can disrupt or damage electronic devices and electrical systems. It’s like a super strong wave of energy that can mess with anything that uses electricity. This includes cell phones, computers, cars, and even the power grid that gives electricity to homes and businesses.

You may have heard about it before, but it’s not commonly discussed.

So let me break it all down for you…

Likelihood of an EMP Attack:

  1. Technological Feasibility: Creating an effective EMP weapon is technologically challenging. It typically involves nuclear detonations at high altitudes or sophisticated non-nuclear devices. The complexity of these technologies limits their availability mostly to advanced military powers.
  2. Global Politics and Deterrence: The United States has strong diplomatic relations and defense systems, which act as deterrents against direct attacks from other major powers. The doctrine of mutually assured destruction (MAD) often serves as a deterrent against nuclear-based EMP attacks, as such an attack could lead to a full-scale nuclear war.
  3. Non-State Actors: The greater risk may come from non-state actors (like terrorist groups) who might not be deterred by traditional means. However, their access to the necessary technology is typically quite limited.
  4. Natural EMPs: There is also the risk of a natural EMP caused by a solar storm, similar to the Carrington Event of 1859. While not a deliberate attack, the effects could be similarly disruptive.

Most Likely Ways an EMP Could Happen:

  1. High-Altitude Nuclear Detonation: A nuclear bomb detonated high in the atmosphere could create a powerful EMP. This would require intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) capabilities.
  2. Non-Nuclear EMP Devices: These devices can be designed to target specific areas or systems without the broader destruction caused by nuclear weapons. However, their effective range and power are generally less than a nuclear EMP.
  3. Cyber-Physical Attacks: A coordinated cyber-attack on power grids and electronic systems could mimic some effects of an EMP, though technically different.
  4. Solar Storms: A severe solar storm hitting the Earth could create natural EMP effects, disrupting electrical systems and communications.

The Fallout From an EMP:

  1. Power Outage: EMPs can knock out electricity everywhere, like turning off a big light switch for a whole city or even a country.
  2. No Internet or Phones: Imagine not being able to call, text, or use the internet. That’s what happens with an EMP.
  3. Water Supply Issues: Without power, getting clean water to homes and buildings becomes really hard.
  4. Food Shortage: Stores need electricity to keep food fresh. Without it, a lot of food can go bad quickly.
  5. No Heating or Air Conditioning: Houses and buildings would lose heating in winter and air conditioning in summer.
  6. Hospitals Struggle: Hospitals rely on power for life-saving equipment. An EMP could put many lives at risk.
  7. Transportation Problems: Cars, buses, and trains might not work, making it tough to get around.
  8. Banking and Money Problems: ATMs and credit card machines need power, so buying things could become really difficult.
  9. Emergency Services Disrupted: Police, fire, and ambulance services could be severely affected.
  10. Danger to Airplanes: Planes flying when an EMP hits could have serious trouble.
  11. Schools Closing: With no power, schools might have to close.
  12. No Radio or TV: News and entertainment through radio and TV would be cut off.
  13. Damage to Electronics: An EMP can break things like computers, TVs, and even some toys.
  14. Industrial Shutdowns: Factories and other big workplaces would have to stop work.
  15. Fuel Shortages: Gas stations need power to pump gas, so cars might run out of fuel.
  16. Increased Crime: Without alarms or streetlights, there might be more thefts and other crimes.
  17. Health Risks from Spoiled Food: Without fridges, food can spoil and make people sick.
  18. Waste Disposal Problems: Trash and sewage systems might not work properly.
  19. Mental Health Stress: The sudden change and uncertainty can be really stressful and scary for people.
  20. Long-Term Recovery: Fixing everything after an EMP can take a really long time and be very hard.

Life In America Following an EMP Attack:

Week 1: Immediate Chaos and Confusion

  • In the immediate aftermath, there would be widespread panic and confusion. The EMP, having disabled all electronics, would leave individuals without means of communication; cell phones, internet, and radio would be rendered useless.
  • Transportation systems would grind to a halt. Modern vehicles with electronic components would fail, leading to widespread traffic jams and stranded individuals.
  • Emergency services would be severely hampered, struggling to respond to incidents without their usual communication and transportation infrastructure.
  • There would be a run on stores for essential supplies as people quickly realize the severity of the situation. This could lead to shortages and even looting in some areas.

Week 2-3: Adapting to the New Reality

  • Communities would begin to adapt. Those with older, non-electronic vehicles and equipment would find themselves at an advantage.
  • People would turn to bicycles, horses, or simply walking for transportation.
  • The lack of refrigeration and electronic banking systems would lead to a reliance on cash transactions and bartering. Localized trading systems might emerge.
  • Battery-operated or hand-crank radios would become vital sources of information, assuming some radio stations could continue broadcasting.
  • There would be a significant increase in manual labor as machines and automated systems used in manufacturing and agriculture would be non-operational.

Week 4 and Beyond: Long-Term Adjustments

  • Social structures would begin to shift, with communities becoming more localized and self-sufficient. Neighbors would need to work together for survival, leading to a resurgence of community-oriented living.
  • Food shortages could become a serious issue. Without modern transportation and preservation methods, communities would have to rely on locally sourced food, leading to a rise in gardening and small-scale farming.
  • Health care would face severe challenges. Hospitals would struggle without modern equipment, leading to a reliance on more traditional methods of treatment and an increased need for medical knowledge within communities.
  • Education would revert to non-digital methods. Schools, if they remained open, would rely on books and oral teaching methods.
  • Over time, there might be efforts to rebuild some form of electrical infrastructure, but this would be a slow and difficult process given the extent of the damage caused by the EMP.

Now you see what I’m talking about?
