WATCH: RFK JR Asked to Take Key Role in Trump’s Transition Team

In a Monday interview with Tucker Carlson, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. revealed that he was asked to join Trump’s presidential transition team.

A team he is more than willing to join.

Fresh off endorsing Trump, Kennedy is set to take a role in helping pick those that will be running this country.

With Trump already enlisting his sons Don Jr. and Eric as honorary chairs, RFK Jr. is ready to dive in.

This was a combo that the Democrats weren’t ready for.

Especially all the voters that RFK Jr. will bring with him to Trump’s team.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told Tucker Carlson during an interview that aired Monday that he was asked to join former President Trump’s presidential transition team, and he’s “looking forward to that.”

Why it matters: Kennedy, who on Friday suspended his campaign and endorsed Trump, told Carlson that he would help “pick the people who will be running the government” during a second Trump term.

  • “Kennedy added that he is going to “work to get Trump elected.”

State of play: Trump had already tapped two of his biggest donors, Linda McMahon and Howard Lutnick, to be the co-chairs of his transition team.

  • Trump’s two elder sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, are serving as honorary chairs of the transition team, where they’re expected to help
vet possible Trump hires for loyalty.
